I came today and got two hungry men and an ice coffee. The atmosphere seems very comfortable and friendly, Their employees are sweet, and their hungry man's 😋 great and great price and ice coffee you can make it how you like. They have a lot of options I would recommend !! 👌🏻 Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Hungry Man

Just moved to town yesterday and this was my closest bagel spot. Got 2 egg sandwiches for my wife and I. Halfway through eating them we noticed it tasted a little off so we opened the sandwich and saw some green. I decided to go back and ask for either new sandwiches or a refund. As soon as I explained what was going on I got nasty looks from the person helping me stating it was just green dye and the bagel was fine. I replied sure, it could be dye, but it still tastes funny and we only noticed the green after the taste. The dye thing actually made more sense while being in there and seeing the multicolor bagels, but we still knew it was way off from the taste which I continued to explain. After that 2 other people came forward and started speaking a little loudly to me saying I was wrong and there was no way there was mold. I explained for probably the 4th time I understand but it could be something else because of the taste. They continued to tell me how wrong I was and that I should just eat what was there so I said they could just keep what was left and walked out. There will always be issue with food here and there, it happens and if it was just that I wouldn’t even do a review. However to get yelled at and told that I’m wrong in public when I was trying to be as reasonable as possible is crazy to me. I’m starting to see where the short guy who was berated in a bagel boss was coming from. If they picked on me over an honest complaint I could only imagine what they did to that poor guy before the camera was rolling. Bagel Boss has been a staple since the 80’s and I try to visit every time I’m in Bay Shore. I was there recently, ordering two everything egg bagels with butter and a Snapple. As usual, I enjoyed the food and the service was average but the prices are very high. Since I’m not in Bay Shore often, I considered it a treat to go here. However, on this trip, it really dawned on me how expensive a couple of bagels and a drink had become. At this point, it’s more nostalgia than the actual product or service. The place has a lot of people working behind the counter. My waitress however, Seemed to be working in reverse everything was slow. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Highest priced bagel place around and they give you the least amount of filling. Embarrassing. Stood on line for 25 mins only to have a women enter, walk by everyone waiting on line, right to the front and order a bunch of bagels and had no issue because she knew some old staff member there who looks like the crypt keeper. (No, she didn’t pre order anything. It was a fresh order in the door). Avoid this place like the plague that it is. Attached is a photo of my over priced bagel. #ScumBagBagles.

Everything is overpriced. Below average bagels, most times they are burnt on the bottoms. Average service, depends on the server, but most of them seem the passive aggressive types because they tend to stand around, especially when there are customers waiting. 2 stars for good coffee, although the coffee station is messy and neglected until a customer complains about empty coffee dispensers. I got a chicken cutlet with home fries, chicken raw, plus all the staff members were talking in another language about customer . The owner has to be more alert what is going on in this place, stop talking about customers behind the counter , make sure the food has to be cooked well,.. just saying I am still seating here about 30 minutes and still talking making a comment and their language , and I do understand their language..

This place is sooo expensive! I understand inflation but damn $13 for an omlette without the extras? I would understand paying that if I had the home fries and toast but this omelette alone …that’s wild. I’ll give credit where’s It’s due the food tasted good but I’m sorry I don’t think it’s worth that.

The employees were disrespectful, food is overpriced for the quality, and they don't know a hint about food safety. There was a man who was handling raw eggs, wiped his nose and with the same pair of gloves on started wrapping bagels to give to the people. Oh and I was greeted by the wonderful smell of burnt bread when I walked in. I would give zero stars if i could. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I grew up in queens so I’m pretty picky about my bagels, with that said this place has become my go to bagel place on the south shore! If you can get there early, the bagels are fresh and don’t need to be toasted which we love over here! There’s a nice selection of varieties of bagels and spreads, and they do have a decent breakfast/deli menu with pastries and snacks available. And of course coffee ! I never wait more than a few minutes to order and receive my order, even when it’s busy....a it does get busy. Let’s not forget the staff is always warm and prices are right! Highly recommend this place.
