After enjoying DePasquale Plaza, visit this bar which is not far away. Search through the Italian menu. You can always degust good spaghetti carbonara, arugula salads and sausages - a special offer of Bacco Vino & Contorni. From the guests' viewpoint, biscuits are nicely cooked here. Get your meal started with delicious prosecco, coffee martini or limoncello. As a lot of guests remark, espresso is really great. The intimate atmosphere of this place allows customers to relax after a hard working day. The high ratings of this spot would be impossible without the accommodating hostess. Prices are found affordable here. As for the Google rating, this bar achieved 4.6.

A new favorite in Providence. Food was great take on actual classic Italian food where simplicity and quality are clear priorities. Service was warm and knowledgeable without pretentiousness. Bacco impresses every time we go there. They got a new room added on here for more seating. We did the Armando experience, the 2 apps didn't survive long enough for me to take pics. 2 entrees were genovase and pork tenderloins. Excellent Northern and Southern Italian food. Ate here for our anniversary and ordered the Armando experience for $75 each (not the one that includes wine pairing, we ordered sangria instead). The meal was filling and 100% worth the price for the location, service, and quality of food. Love when restaurants have a designed course on the menu. It’s great if you’re indecisive.

A FABULOUS restaurant where not only is the food so outstanding and bursting with amazing flavors, but the owner is wonderfully entertaining as well. Armando has a terrific sense of humor & is so engaging. We not only ate well, but also had a lot of fun. Eating at Bacco was a great experience all around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Armando and staff provide an amazing "foodies" food experience. This is the place where the food is freaking exceptional and every bite is exploding with robust flavors, but the owner and staff are energetically entertaining also. First time here. Service was very nice. Friendly and very knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu. We simply provided our server with the wine profile we preferred and based on that he came out with an option to taste and did very well. My husband ate here a few times and said that Bacco Vino & Cortoni is phenomenal! We had a birthday coming up in the family and, what an excellent opportunity to finally try the restaurant that my husband is so passionate about. We made reservations for 130pm for five people on a Tuesday . I parked in front of the restaurant. I entered the restaurant. There are a few small tables as you enter and a bar. I identified myself, and I was lead to the back of the restaurant. This is where your experience starts because you will notice that is not the usual 'restaurant setup". You will pass the kitchen, then, climb up a very small stair and voila! you have just entered a realm of the most exquisite Italian cuisine experience. The space is small, with a few tables. We were greeted again by our waiter and also Armando the Chef! The menu is not the traditional Italian-American menu, and I knew this by one item on the menu-tripes! This is something you don't see every day much less in an Italian restaurant. (Tripe has to be ordered in advance). The menu is a tour of what a traditional Italian menu should look like. We ordered an appetizer that was excellent, it had all kinds of goodies such as variations of salamis, olives, cheeses, melon, etc. I ordered my main course, called Pollo Casariccion-excellent! best chicken I have had in a long time. Excellent lentil soup. The wine is another dimension of excellence. I am not into red wine, but my husband is, and I had a glass, wow! I was transported to the moon and back! Everyone at my table enjoyed every meal they had! no complaints. Chef Armando really went above and beyond my expectation. I could tell he loves what he does, loves people. This is his passion! Now I found out that Chef Armando is doing a cruise for next year. I am interested in joining their group. I can only imagine what that experience will be like. Bacco just received top 100 on Yelp!!! Make sure you call ahead for reservations because now that everyone is getting their Covid vaccines, people are dining out more and Bacco is full on weekends. Enjoy my pictures below. 2/23/21

Overpriced and underwhelming. Only 1 waiter for the entire dining room (11+ tables; service was absolutely something to be desired) and he was awfully arrogant and off-putting (when asked “do you have a wine list?” he replied “I’M the wine list, people were too confused [read: dumb] to understand the options”. Found a piece of plastic from a veggie label in my main course. For the price, this place is a horrible experience compared to other options in Federal Hill.
