My friends and I are in the Caymans for a rugby tour, and 6 of us attended Bacaro for dinner. The service was absolutely amazing - our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Every item we tried was delicious! The lobster croquettes were to die for. We had a beautiful view of the harbour. It was a great experience, and we highly recommend it! Hands down the BEST food in Grand Cayman!! Every single one of the 9 dishes my wife and I ordered were OUTSTANDING!! The flavors, presentation and service were top notch! We were thoroughly impressed! Our server Val was awesome and very helpful finding dishes my wife can eat with her dairy allergy. If you're in Grand Cayman, you NEED to eat at Bacaro!! Wow!! Best dining experience on the island during our trip. Host accommodated us without a reservation (although if you have a larger party or want to sit outside it is recommended). Our server was friendly, made great recommendations, and was very attentive. The food is described as tapas style with an Italian flavor although they also offer seafood like ceviche, oysters, etc. the Gorgonzola croquettes and ceviche with wahoo were the highlight for us. Wow factor. Me and my wife visited the island few times before. We always like to try new restaurants , this is THE best gastronomic experience we ever had a chance to try. Food is delicious, presentation outstanding the service is welcoming and 5 star. If you looking for a new way food experience, this is a place. BACARO Highly recommending for every food enthusiastic person Mr. Bako, THANK YOU for a fantastic atmosphere and also thank you for the for our server Balazs for the outstanding service. It’s a tapas style restaurant. We ordered 6 dishes and were really full. My husband’s favorite was the ceviche and mine was the lamb. I also thought the asparagus and the scallop were great, too. It is a bit out of the way as it is not located in the main strip, but I think it’s worth the trip.

We had heard raving reviews of Bacaro. We happened to be there while there was filming of some TV show so there seemed to be lots of additional people around and limited access to areas. However the atmosphere was great considering the unique crowd. The food was definitely good however not as amazing as expected considering the price. Remember it is tapas so the servings are small. We were surprised that some dishes had more to share among the 3 of us than other. The service was on point! The panna cotta is a must have!
