I ordered the Delmonico steak they over pepper steak asked for other one less pepper and it just tasted like nothing. I been tons of steaks house this by far the worst steak ever and the sever should taken off the bill I’ll never come back here. The food was great, really tasty steak and rice. The pork ribs were also great. The waitress was just great and really cool dude, always making sure we had what we needed. We stopped for lunch. Had the Delmonico steak lunch with fries and salad. Steak was fatty and chewy even though it was med rare like ordered. Wife ordered grilled skewered shrimp that tasted like burnt grill and were rubbery. Salad was good and service at table was good. There was a birthday party with 8 people in the front eating area near us that was loud and raucous. I know they were just having a good time but they overpowered the room with noise. I have eaten here many times over the years. Sometimes the food is great, sometimes not good. This was a not good time. Austin's will forever be a favorite!! Not only do they make Te&#s Ro$%hou*e look like the McDonald's of steakhouses, they serve PHENOMENAL steaks, apps, drinks and friendliness. Our app was the cactus bloom which is an onion breaded and fried, this app can be found in almost any steakhouse but theirs is top notch due to the seasoning. I had the 14oz New York strip with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes and as always it was AMAZING. My husband proposed at Austin's in 2017. If they weren't a favorite for that they would DEFINITELY be one due to the food!!! 10/10 will eat here every chance my wallet allows!!! I was driving through Valdosta and decided to check out this local restaurant. There is a restaurant on one side of the property and a sports bar on the other. I chose the bar since I was alone. It took me 10 minutes to get the bartenders attention but it wasn't her fault. She was making drinks for the entire establishment with no back up, which is management's fault. Service was super slow through no fault of the bartender. She was even changing kegs. I ordered the gator tail appetizer which was just okay. I tried the Georgia Beer amber ale which was good. The five star reviews were right. This place has excellent steaks and service. It’s also a very nice place inside. We stopped here for dinner after getting gas for our drive home to FL. Javian was our wait staff and he was exceptional. He took our drink orders, and when he returned with them, we ordered a T-bone for Husband and a Delmonico for me with baked potatoes and side salads. Javian brought a loaf of bread that looked and tasted yummy with or without butter. Then came the salads. The Ranch dressing was the best we’ve had. They make it themselves, and we purchased a pint for $9.99. The steaks came next, and after one bite, we both said, WOW! They were cooked they way we wanted, too. The potatoes were good as well. Javian asked if we wanted dessert, but we were full. We’ll have to come back again and not eat as much so we can try the desserts. We will be back!
