Akatsuki 11 Japanese Restaurant offers a culinary experience that strikes a harmonious balance between affordability and delectable flavors. Akatsuki 11 pleasantly surprised with dishes that were not just budget-friendly but also incredibly tasty. The flavors danced on my palate, each bite bringing forth a symphony of tastes that can be aptly described as mouthwatering, scrumptious, and delightful. However, the inviting flavors were accompanied by an atmosphere that left something to be desired. The dimly lit surroundings, coupled with an unexpected presence of mosquitoes and flies, did slightly detract from the overall dining experience. The Filipino novelty songs playing in the background, while unique, added a peculiar touch to the ambiance. On the brighter side, the accommodating service provided by the staff managed to redeem the overall experience. The personnel were attentive and friendly, ensuring that every diner felt welcomed and well-taken care of. Located along Retiro near Banawe. There's only 1 slot for parking. The store itself is quite small with a bar counter table that can seat 5 only at the groundfloor. What it lacks in curb appeal it makes up for in the good quality, presentation and taste profile of the food. Price points is not cheap from a small neighborhood hole-in the wall store point of view. Neither is it too expensive based on the quality of the ingredients and the utmost care in the way they prepare and cook your food. Which by the way is why I always choose a seat near the kitchen so I can watch the staff cook the food and determine how good they are. This place will remind of the small ramen shop in Japan which is located in small side streets.. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₱600–800 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Spicy Salmon Salad
Not so expensive but not so affordable either. Average cost per person is P500. Some servings are small like sakedon, salmon salad, and sashimi. Others are ok like ebi tempura. Taste is ok. Sashimi was not so fresh, taste like it was frozen for too long. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₱400–600 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Volcano Roll

The place is small, somewhat similar to ramen houses in Japan. We missed it when looking for it that we need to drive back and retraced. Food was prepared in front of you and quite happy with what we ordered. Sashimi is fresh. Luv their California maki and futomaki. Was not impressed with their Gyudon though. Their cold tea is free but if you want it hot, you pay....😄 Service is great. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person ₱800–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
A somewhat nondescript, would qualify as a hole in the wall if it wasn't along a main thoroughfare, Japanese restaurant. The first floor only has 4 to 5 counter seats but there is a second level with more seating. The upper floor was nice and cool though do be careful when going up and down the stairs. Service was quick, and everyone was nice and polite. Food came out in the right order and at the right temperature. Though the okonomiyaki took a little longer than the rest to get to us, it wasn't that bad a wait. Everything was flavourful and the portions were apt for the price. Will definitely go back to try the other items on their menu! Peep the photos to see their salmon sashimi, unagi maki, tamago, tantanmen, miso ramen, and okonomiyaki. *PS: Parking out front is very limited so plan accordingly. the place is very congested/small, just like a typical resto in japan... but felt like it doesn't work here in our country. food was good., does not feel that authentic tho, for me. my wife and kid enjoyed it very much. but it was just ok for me. one thing i always check is how good the rice is, this time it wasn't sticky enough (mabuhaghag) so a no no for me. generally, the price is just ok for the food quality. they dont have credit card for payment. only has one parking slot as well. id still recommend it for a budget japanese experience :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₱1,400–1,600 Recommended dishes Volcano Roll
Everything in the menu are soo delicious!!!! They serve authentic japanese cuisine... We love their Volcano Roll, Gyoza, Katsu Curry Rice, Beef Teriyaki Don and Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen.. THANK YOU AKATSUKI 11 for serving us mouthwatering food! Arigatou! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ₱400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Volcano Roll

A small restaurant with great Japanese food. If you're craving for some Japanese food, Akatsuki is the right place to be. Price is very affordable, food taste great and the owner and his staff are very accommodating. It will surely make you keep on coming back for more. Maybe the only downside is the dining space, which can only hold a max of 10 - 12 people at the moment & the parking space. Unfortunately, it can only accommodate 1 car in front of the restaurant. So it's a first come, first serve basis.😉 Overall, food is a 10/10 & Akatsuki is highly recommended and a must resto to visit!!👍🏻👍🏻💯👍🏻👍🏻 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
