Love the bread! The texture, layer and taste is very good. Personally, I think it’s way better than the Paul and many other bakeries in Taiwan. 😜 Highly recommended!!
It’s alright. The sweet pastries are pretty good but the regular pastries are pretty Taiwanese in flavor. Baguettes taste pretty bad and the ones from Carrefour are better.
I heard so much about this bakery from friends that I was dying to try it out.
I finally got the chance to go there, but to my surprise, after I ordered they told me they don't accept payments with credit/debit cards, they just take cash.
For such a big and famous bakery to just take cash, it's very disappointing.
They sold Taiwanese French Baguette not real French Baguette. If you are looking for authentic taste, Adrien Bakery definitely shouldn't be on your list. Carrefour has outdone them concerning the price and authenticity.
The first time that I came here I enjoyed the lemon tarts, but was wholly disappointing that they didn't have the "traditional" baguette as they said that there was a problem buying the whole wheat flour. So I got a regular Chinese-style baguette. Well, the regular was gross, it was spongy, tasted like flour. I can't believe that it is called a baguette as it shares none of the qualities of a baguette. Well, I decided to try the traditional baguette today, as well as pick up lemon tarts. The bakery looked empty today, no lemon tarts, and everything else was empty. It is not as if it was a busy day, as I was the only customer there. Also, I was informed that the "traditional" baguette was made-to-order. I won't come back here again. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
French bakery run by foreigners (I was told Frenchmen but didn't have a chance to confirm that personally) - different taste to most of the "European" bakeries around. Generally seem to be using good quality ingredients. Worth giving it a try.
