Ah Meng Kopitiam is a hidden gem that captures the essence of an old-style kopitiam, though finding it initially can be a bit tricky due to the inconspicuous signboard. Once you do locate it, the experience is well worth it. Their toast is satisfying, and the coffee is exceptionally tasty, delivering that classic kopitiam flavor. The curry noodles are also a standout, served with precision and taste. I'd rate Ah Meng Kopitiam a solid 4 stars. Despite the initial challenge of finding it, the authentic kopitiam atmosphere and delicious offerings, especially the coffee and curry noodles, make it a place worth revisiting for those seeking that nostalgic kopitiam vibe. A typical Malaysian kopitiam where all cultures merge into one nostalgic bundle. Kopi is definitely a must try, khaw khaw and kick. Grab the yau char kuai near the cashier counter before sold out. Goes great dipped in kopi. Nasi lemak bungkus is a great great takeaway while feast on roti bakar, half boiled eggs. The curry mee is definitely one of its kind. The gravy soup is thick, almost like mee rebus. The makcik own version. Outside the kopitiam is a stall selling a variety of East Coast food. She is a kalantanese. Worth buying is the laksam and nasi kerabu (make sure ask for sambal and budu). Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 1–20

One of the best kopitiam i had. Just love their curry noodles. They serve fresh tofu in the mee kari. The taste between the curry and tofu and noodles is balance. Many uncles also lepak during morning. Just love to see the harmony between few races hanging out here. Better come early! The crowd can be crazy. They serve a lot of tables also. They will remember you after two times of visit. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 1–20

Best of Malaysia.. simple delicious roti plus authentic coffee Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I've a confession to make. I'm from Kuala Pilah. I know rojak Pilah like all Pilahan's does but I don't know Ah Meng Kopitiam until recently when many of my cycling buddies updated status and uploading photos of Ah Meng Kopitiam. We went there last Sept (25/09/2022 to be exact). Actually it's not a planned trip because we just want to cycle from Senawang to Kuala Pilah until my friend asked "where we want to have breakfast". He suggested Ah Meng Kopitiam and I agreed cause I've never been there. We reached there at 10am and to my surprise there're still a lot of people flocking that place. I ordered nasi kerabu while my wife ordered "roti bakar" (toasted bread) and "telur goyang" (half boiled egg) accompanied with a cup of kopi kaw (strong coffee). Taste wise is OK and sorry I can't comment on the coffee or the roti bakar because I'm not an expert to rate those food. To me it's all the same (hahaha...). The ambience is truly Malaysian where Malays, Chinese and Indians came and enjoying their meal. And the best part is that it's not pretending to be a rustic "kopitiam" like kopitiam located in shopping malls because it's actually rustic and antique located in the suburb of Kuala Pilah. Will I go there next time? Yes. I want to try their "mi kari" because it's sold out when we're there. So many reviewers saying their mi kari is "sedap" and since I'm a mi kari lover, I will try and give a review of their mi kari. Service Dine in

A famous kopitiam in Kuala Pilah that serves halal typical Hainese kopitiam fare like toasted bread, soft boiled eggs, coffee, nasi lemak, nasi berlauk and so on. They still have the old marble top table, old kopitiam chairs and the place in specious. It even have 3 private rooms if you prefer to eat in those private rooms. There is no air conditioning but it is not hot there at all as it is very airy.
Nice little small-town coffee shop patronised by people of all races. Can sit outside in the open airy space. Must try the cheap and simple nasi lemak well as roti goyang (half boiled eggs on toasted bread). Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
