Excellent service and excellent opportunity to relax. Very friendly staff and locals. Really nice place would definitely stay there again. Beautiful location

Lovely bar ladies who were very friendly. A small pub with decent meals (I had a beef burger which was delicious) and I loved the little local nicknacks. Cutlery isn't left on the tables and you grab it when you order which is fine if you aren't looking for fine dining. Definitely a cosy and comfy little treasure.

Visited this Pub a couple of times to view the Rugby. Was impressed by the bar facilities which included 3 - 4 different seating areas depending on your preferences for watching sport, dining or just having a drink. They run great bar raffles and bar meals are very good. Nice place, will visit again.

Dropped in for dinner and were surprised at their menu selection, being that it was winter and most places were closed. Bar staff were very obliging and friendly. As this town is fully a mussel growing place it's a must to try one of their dished. I had curried mussel chowder with crusty toast. Would recommend to anyone stopping here.

We had drinks last night and bought and won second prize in the pub raffle! Great!!! We have collected this morning and it's a lovely big roast!!!|We are travelling and the hotel has offered to cook it for us in their pizza oven!!! How good is that... Thank you so much from your visitors . ||Great town and great hospitality. |Cheers

This place is the best! I was looking to have a nice steak and glass (or two) of wine at a casual restaurant. Both, by the way, were delicious at Admiral’s Arms. But what really made it for me at this place was their friendly and hospitable staff. The sky opened up and started to pour rain before my 20 min walk back to my accommodations. I was offered a ride back to my accommodations by Marice, one of their servers. I am very grateful for such a lovely experience at Admiral’s Arms.

After a long drive on winding road my best friend and I stopped in to have a beer and stay the night in the rooms upstairs. We were met with a cold Waikato on tap and great service from the bar staff. The pool table was a center point of the nights activities as well as we were treated to a fireworks show readily available to view from the rooms upstairs. Awesome night all round would happily visit again

My husband and I called in for a quick drink before heading to Matarangi. The place had a really good atmosphere and very much reminded me of pubs of old. The staff were friendly the drinks were cold!! If I had to spend any length of time in the Coromandel township I would book in. Well worth a visit
