I was lucky enough to be taken here by a local friend, and I felt so lucky, as I was the only tourist in there, so I figured it was probably not the sort of place tourists would usually find, but the food was the best I've had here, the flavours were amazing and it felt very authentic. I just wish I could learn to cook these dishes! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

As one of the most upmarket restaurants in the Big C area, this large open air establishment caters mostly to big groups, families or company parties, but is still very welcoming to foreign guests and smaller parties. The service here is good and friendly, and the menu offers a huge selection of dishes, mostly standards, but there's a few less common choices such as eel sausage (my favourite) and their special fried rice served in an edible bowl. The food is generally good to excellent and prices are moderate, 150-200k per head with beers. The Vinh Diem Trung / Phu Nong area of Nha Trang has seen recent openings of some really recommendable restaurants that offer much more authenticity and better value than the restaurants in the tourist and downtown areas, and it's just a short cab ride away.
