A la française is a great restaurant in Gdańsk that offers authentic French cuisine. The chef is from Brittany and the quality of the food is excellent. Their omelette is well made with ham slices inside and their croque madame is magnificent with bechamel sauce and salad with vinaigrette. The cafe au lait is also served as you would expect. They offer vegetarian options, as well as galettes, crepes, French onion soup, escargot, duck, pork cheeks, and more. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

My husband and i were looking for a light breakfast and found this place. Its tucked away from the main street and we were able to sit down immediately. My husband got the French toast with mixed fruit and i got the crepe with marscapone filling. Both were delicious! The drinks were Irish coffee and another coffee drink with liquor, it was string as i got to the bottom so my husband finished it. Overall a good experience. We took two omelettes and 2 coffees- flat white and cappuccino. We really liked baguettes but we think that the quantity was not enough. Omelettes were tasty with fresh sides - salad and tomatoes. We paid around 75 zl which I find is quite expensive. Also I was not a fan of decorations. 4/5 is a fair note. Thank you

Had breakfast at this place. Everything was nice and tasty. They do provide outdoor and indoor seating. Most of the time this place looks busy and but order taken and cooked fast. You can customise a bit in their combinations of breakfast. We really like this little "french" creperie. They have both sweet and savoury crepes that you can order. I had the goat cheese one and also tried the crepe suzette. Both tasted great. Another thing I can recommend are their white chocolate drinks that are so comforting. A great place to get a touch of france. Got back here in 2024 for a great breakfast with some nice cheeses and condiments. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Well, reviews are all correct - this place is an absolute gem in Gdansk. My French branch was outstanding - and I don't say this a lot. It was so perfectly proportioned - nothing yo add, nothing to take off. English breakfast with a wrist was also lovely, however the bacon roll were too salty but it's just my taste buds. Coffee was ok. The crepe with orange was recommended to us and I wasn't really that impressed, it was lovely tho.
