Lovely restaurant with a huge menu of comfort foods. There’s both inside and outdoor seating. We came for the clam chowder and it didn’t disappoint. The chowder was hot, chock full of clams and so delicious. I ordered the half BLT and half chowder that I upgraded from a cup to a bowl for an additional $2.99. So glad I did. We had an excellent breakfast at Zorro's. Guillermo ensured we got great seats and drinks right away. He kept our waters and coffees topped off throughout the meal. All of the food, some specifically suggested by Guillermo, tasted amazing and the portions were quite sufficient to walk away feeling full. One of us couldn't even finish their meal. If you're traveling in the area I strongly suggest taking the time to enjoy a breakfast or lunch here. You won't regret it (especially the sweet corn tamale). This has been a family favorite for brunch since my wife and I started going to Cal Poly in 2012. Still our favorite spot in the county for brunch by the water to this day. Best clam chowder in SLO county hands down. The offerings are unmatched and the chips/salsa are always a nice touch. Friendly staff that’s always top notch.
