This restaurant is a right choice if you are in the mood for the Chinese cuisine. You can always degust nicely cooked crab rangoon, mongolian beef and hot & sour soup - a special offer of Yen Jing. A week ago (01/27/2024)was my first time eating here. It was an awesome experience... the food is delicious the portions were enough to feed 2 people, if you have children there is a menu for them. I was passing through Greenville on a business trip and decided on Yen Jing for dinner.. I was not disappointed the food was great, served family style(which I love)something you don't see often.. Orderd mandarin chicken wings no sauce add jumbo shrimp $5. Covered in sauce and no shrimp. When i called manager was arguing with me saying they did put in shrimp. Lomein noodles was spaghetti noodle and tasted like they have been setfing in grease all day so disappointed. I will not ever go there again. If you're looking for an old school Chinese restaurant like before the take out invasion, this is the place. The decor is great. My wife regularly ate here with her mom in the 70s. The food is fresh, piping hot and delicious. Service is awesome and there's plenty of elbow room in this spacious, clean restaurant. The food was delicious. Sweet on the Sesame Chicken and the friend rice was not like the other places color. They can work on that. The customer service was wonderful. Even though they were to close at 9, and we got there at 8, they were very happy to us. They didn't rush us or anything. The food was great and if you can't tell by my pictures the portions are very generous. Once again if you're in Greenville TX or find yourself passing through, you need to stop at this place. Here is my Togo order for $10.00. It is supposed to be shrimp with lobster sauce. I am not exaggerating when I tell you this smells like a drawer full of dirty socks. It doesn’t even smell like food. So horrible! I can’t even take a bite because it smells so unbelievably wrong. What a rip off! Besides the smell, for $10 I could have opened 4 cans of the cheap soup they used and bought a bag of shrimp to make 5 dinners. Except that for $10 I wasn’t looking for a disgustingly odd smelling meal that looks like something just got poured out of a can. Never going back. For sure!

Got a chance to stop here for Lunch, on my way back to Dallas. Decent place, ambience was good, Curry Chicken was amazing. Little disappointed with hot & sour soup though.
