Loved this place! Vibes were fun and relaxed. Coffee was great (had the dulce de Leche latte and cajete latte, hot). Ham breakfast sandwich was yummy, get the brioche bun! Dulce de Leche waffle also great! I'm not a huge fan of conchas, these were the best I've ever had! Got there and the girl at the counter was timid and it came off as a bit unfriendly. I paid and waited for my order which was taken incorrectly so I left with less than what I had hoped to order. I ordered a smoothie that lacked flavor. It tasted like cream, strawberry and banana but lacked any sweetness whatsoever. I don't like sweet smoothies but this one had zero balance. It was as if the fruit that was being used wasn't ripe. I ordered a dulce de leche latte wich had no hint of dulce de leche what so ever. Bad service, bad quality, I do not recommend. First time at Xulo coffee, I had no problems with the service and the space was clean and welcoming. The LED sign was a nice touch and the display case filled with conchas was cute! Food was definitely good, my friend and I both ordered waffles and avocado toast with potatoes. We shared the dulce de leche and berry waffles. While they were tasty, they were a little thick for our preference as we prefer a crispier waffle, and could have used a bit more syrup for moisture and sweetness. But the avocado toast was very delicious, we both ate the entire thing. We noticed most people around us also ordered avocado toast and seemed to enjoy it. I ordered a Mexican hot cocoa and while it was tasty with the cinnamon, it had a bit too much cream on top to the point that I didn't really taste the chocolate. Thought the bfast burrito was pricey at first but it’s a large portion. Tasted like real food not frozen stuff. Customer service was cool too
