Had to stand around waiting because all of the table were filthy. Finally after Teresa came to clean one off for us, she informs us that her shift ends in 15 minutes and we should wait to order. She takes the order for our drinks, brought us 7 of our 8 drinks and never gave us a refill. After consulting with another customer about not wanting to take our order because she had to leave in 15 minutes, she decides to come ask us for our food order. She was rude when my daughter didn’t exactly know what she wanted and huffed as she asked yet again if we wanted to wait till shift change. Everyone hadn’t even got their food yet as she rushed for us to pay our bill….still never got that last drink….everything was sticky…. Decided to grab a bite to eat here during the late hours after visiting the casino. Upon entering the restaurant the waitress was complaining about being swamped yet there was only 2 other patrons in the restaurant. All the tables we poorly cleaned and sticky. Additionally the booths were full of crumbs and food remnants. Food was not cooked as ordered. Waitress never check up on us once our food was serviced (which was served by the cook himself). About ¾ of the way through our meal we noticed a cockroach crawling up the side of our booth. We brought it to the attention of our waitress who initially refused to take any action to remove the cockroach but eventually she did hit it with a towel. We promptly paid and left the restaurant. We stopped at this waffle house on our long car ride home. The food was cooked perfectly and the service was wonderful. I'd like to give a shout-out to Bunny in particular, she was on top of everything the whole time! She made it feel like we were welcome friends instead of just 2 random customers. My son picked Waffle House for breakfast for his 6th birthday. We came to this location, and Bunny was our server. This was out 2nd time meeting Bunny and she remembered our family, and my kids name. She's super friendly and such an awesome server. My son had such a good time he asked to go back to Waffle House for lunch later that day to see Bunny again.
