Absolutely great wine. Full-flavored and well balanced. The tasting room is warm and cozy. Lulu greats you at the door with a smile. Angela is so warm and knowledgeable, just a great person. She is more than willing to take the time to talk to you and answer all your wine questions. We live in Florida but have spent our last 2 wedding anniversaries at the winery and plan to come back in years to come.

Angela and her ability to craft reds that fit a wide variety of palates is something that is a huge highlight for Turiya wines. Out of the five my girlfriend and I tried, there was not one dislike among the group. She was also amazing as she introduced each of the wines she selected for our tasting. Not only did she gives us the flavor notes behind them, she also provided the information behind each of the grapes she selected and why she picked them. The flavoring behind each of the wines seemed like it was a demonstration of her passion for her craft. This is also coupled with the fact that she was so welcoming! She provided answers to any question we both asked with an infectious enthusiasm that helped create an ideal atmosphere that felt perfect. Thank you for such an amazing experience!!

If you're in Lompoc, and you like big red wines with a lot of complexity that truly justify their price point, come taste at Turiya. There's a really high chance the wine maker will be there pouring your tasting and ready to share her passion for her small batch wine. Angela is a generous and hilarious host! I pick up a few bottles everytime I'm thru.
Angela is great! Had such a good time w her and her pup Lulu! Such a pleasant experience! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Angela ❤️
My wife and I are ashamed to admit we are were wine snobs....most of our cellar was Italian and French and we were Poo Pooing most California wines with the possible exception of being fortunate enough to taste an old Mondavi Opus, HOWEVER, I must say that in the last few years, we have fallen in love with Turiya wines.... WHY YOU ASK? SEVERAL AMAZING REASONS: -Angela Soleno the the top vintner and owner of Turiya, has an exceptional pallet and an incredible vision when it comes to taking the best grapes the Santa Yáñez Valley has to offer and transforming them into wines that wisk you away to far off places and feed your soul. -All the Turiya vintage bottles we’ve tried were aged at least 40 months and some longer at 48. The wines are also not filtered and in my opinion use fewer sulphites than a big production wine. We’ve never had sulphate headaches the next morning after drinking several bottles of this nectar the night before. Note too that most major wine labels barrel wine for the bare minimum two years, remove the residue for clarity/appearance and add lots of sulphites due to manufacturing and transport requirements for major distribution. All that to meet certain economic needs of a large factory wine production operation. Not Turiya, it’s the anti thesis of a major wine producer; small batches, long barrel time to allow the wine to be what it should be, meaty sediment that enhances the pallet and in my opinion, much smaller sulphite quantities because the winery sells direct with no middleman. I strongly recommend you sample some of these wines at Turiya....your pallet and your soul will thank you!!!!

As a wine tour company we visit numerous wineries to experience Santa Barbara’s Wine Country. Hands down Turiya Wines in Lompoc is a standout. Our guest enjoy meeting the wine maker (Angela Soleno) in a behind-the-scenes style tasting adventure... she leads the groups through the winery sampling from barrels all while sharing her personal journey to establishing Turiya. She is very informative, knowledgeable and inspiring. If you find yourself looking for a ‘meet the winemaker’ tasting, this is the one.

Excellent varieties of wine to taste and enjoy, great value and staff was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Great owner. Most knowledgeable about wine and wines in general.
Turiya is an exceptional boutique winery that should be included on your visit to the Santa Ynez area. Angela can make available a taste from the barrel to help you understand her approach to wine making.
