Amazing bar! Karaoke night is my favorite night here, every Wednesday, fun in a way you would only get at a gay bar! Chris is an amazing host and really gets the bar excited for each singer. Sunday is trivia at 7:30, hosted by Nico Rico! A great community space, with familiar faces and regulars who will always make you feel at home. All are welcome here, come here and be yourself. Even better if you come here with friends!

This place is always a good time! There are drag shows, karaoke nights and dancing! The staff are always nice and greeting ppl as they walk in!! Love this place! There are several bathrooms available and they’re always clean!!

I had the time of my life at Troupe429’s Drag Brunch, this morning!! The performers were not only incredibly TALENTED, they were also so personable throughout the entire performance & interacted with their audience in such a fun and genuine way. The positive energy they gave to the crowd, was unmatched. I am looking forward to coming back for more soon. Thank you Queens for your heart & beauty that showed through your performance! :)

I've gone to this establishment twice now, during Halloweekend and for Scandalous Saturday Burlesque! Both nights were fantastic! The performers are always amazing to watch!!!! As a new member of the community, each time i've gone i've felt so included and surrounded by loving genuine people! Can't wait to keep coming back <3

Love this bar. They are always playing great music & having fun events like drag competitions. The drinks are very affordable and even have great sober friendly options. I once got a cbd cocktail and it was amazing. It is also very clean inside!

I came here for the first time over the weekend and can’t wait to come back again. We celebrated our friends birthday and we had the best time including a Drag Queen birthday shoutout, the BEST DJ and music and an awesome bar scene that was very reasonably priced. We want to bring all our birthdays here now.

I came to Troupe 429 as a drag frequenter and was blown away by the experience. The owners put such care and intention into the shows and establishment. Sienna hosted the show and Buttakup preformed, the talent was incredible, I cannot wait to come back! They took amazing care of the girls, the decorations were on point (portraits of 12 queer icons behind the bar?!CMON!), the environment was safe, they offer free condoms, the staff is very attentive without being intrusive, and the bathrooms were consistently clean. The 3 hr drive it took to get to Troupe was worth every minute of traffic and road construction. Troupe 429 is THEE place to BE in CT

I absolutely love this place... Every Wednesday is Karaoke night. The crowd is always super cool and encouraging. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bar staff and owners are the best! If your looking for somewhere to go that’s not too far, always fun and inexpensive, Troupe is a the place for you!!!
