While looking at the inspirational Ghandi, I had an Indian lunch with rice, vegetables and yellow curry with coconut sauce. To be very honest, this is not at all true Indian food. Indian food tastes a lot better and more fresh/authentic spices/veggies/protein. So please consider that you won't be getting the real Indian taste or anywhere even mildly close to it. We took away the food for dinner and the food smelled horrible even when kept overnight in fridge, which meant only a lot of garlic was used which isn't that authentic of Indian dishes. This is more of a Bengali/Bangladeshi cuisine. The staff is amazing, that is no doubt and very friendly. So that's a plus. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

There is a reason this place has one of the best ratings in Östersund. The food was so delicious, it’s up there with that time I was with my Indian friend in Southall London (also called “Little India”). 👍 Can recommend and will be back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 300–400

I was there with my husband for a dinner. We chosed sizzlar meat iteam with spicy souce. It was really tasty and spicy. An amazingly decorated restaurant with nice touch of Indian delicacies. And guess what the restaurant is run by a gentleman who already owns a popular Indian restaurant in Vasteras, another town in Sweden. You are always welcome with a friendly smile and will be suggested flexibility in case, the menu doesn't interest you! A worthwhile visit for the sake of staff, ambience and needless to mention the quality of food. You might be surprised by some special welcome treat, offered on the house ;)

This is one of the two best Indian restaurants I have visited in Sweden. The other one was India in Malmö. Very delicious and plenty of food. Our kids loved the Butter Masala. I had a Sizzlar Garlic Chicken and this was really good! Great service just makes it all even better. I will vome back next time when I visit Östersund.

A really nice place with very reasonable prices. Both indoor and comfy outdoor seating was available. I got the Saag Paneer (Spinach and Cheese) and loved it. Nice presentation too, although I mostly care about how my food tastes!
