The cuisine here was a journey through a tapestry of flavors and textures that are as delightful to the palate as they are kind to the planet. The first "Koushary" Egyptian dish included a composition of rice and pasta crowned with golden-brown onions and chickpeas. It was a blend of textures and earthy flavors. The rice was cooked to perfection, each grain separate and infused with subtle spices, while the pasta provided a comforting softness, and the crispy onions added a sweet caramelized note. Accompanied by a side of tangy sauce, each bite was a celebration of balance and taste. The second "Vegan" plate was a vibrant mosaic of Lebanese staples. The falafel balls were a deep golden brown, with a satisfyingly crunchy exterior giving way to a moist, herb-infused interior that was the epitome of the perfect falafel—flavorful, hearty, and utterly irresistible. Hummus, smooth and creamy, served as a luxurious base for the falafel, inviting diners to swoop in for the perfect scoop. Accompanying this was a fresh and colorful medley of pickled vegetables and a robust salad, their crispness and tang cutting through the richness of the dishes. The tahini sauce, a creamy and nutty complement, was the ideal finisher, binding all elements of the plate together. The last dish was a chef customized spicy potatoes with caramelized onions topped off with a spicy kicker. Each dish captured both the essence of Lebanese and Egyptian cuisines. A very good choice for plant based options. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Spicy Potato

Delicious food and attentive service. Busy on a weeknight, so you know it's good! Music was a tiny bit too loud for conversation across the table but was pleasant otherwise. They were out of the wine I wanted but that's ok because I will definitely be back again. Came for a hookah and dinner. I appreciated the quick and friendly service. I didn't have to wait long for someone to come up to me. While quick service is great, it doesn't apply to later stages of the experience. I placed my dinner order and it came out, without exaggeration, in roughly 2 minutes. I didn't even have a chance to get a glass of water brought to my table. I ordered a salad to start and I got it within 30 seconds, followed by my meal a minute later. I had like one bite of salad. The salad was tasty. The rest was underwhelming. I got the lamb and beef schwarma. It was cold and had less than 3oz of meat on top of a kilo of rice. I've never seen such little meat in a schwarma plate from any middle eastern place. Rice was good. Hummus good. Schwarma cold and had thick gristly pieces, not shaved. The hookah was brought to my table at the same time as dinner, which is odd. Luckily I didn't get coals until well after I finished dinner. The hookah was okay for the price. It should be cheaper when people spend good money on meals that are subpar. In any case, the place just needs to work on timing, delivery, and value. I understand times are tough, but the amount of meat on the plate was embarrassing. I did not complain, left a 20% tip and headed out.
