I recently took a group of seniors on a country drive & we made a pit stop while we were out. The kindest staff, cutest spot, and most delicious desserts ever!!!! I have yet to try something that is not amazing! You cannot go wrong. Champagne raspberry is an absolute must and the cookies are all irresistible too! Highly, highly recommend. Great spot to get cozy and hang out with a friend. The desserts, especially the cakes are some of the BEST I and my husband have ever had. Trust me, we've been to a few bakeries and the fact I am saying that means that their stuff is AMAZING!! Had my first piece the morning of our wedding day and we’ve been coming ever since. Nothing like the cookie dough cake anywhere else and the old fashioned is just fantastic. Never a bad day for the bars or cookies either. Hands down one of my favorite places in Stayton. Also, they make such beautiful cakes for special occasions. I first began visiting The Lovin' Oven when they were at the original location. The lines would go out the door on Fridays but oh, was it worth waiting to pick up a piece of cake, especially the cheese cake, cookies or something for the day. Their pieces are so huge, you can share with someone else. I love the new location and ambiance. Their strawberry cake is absolutely amazing and 12 of us had a good size slice with some left. I have been here once with my family, and I loved the environment. My son was in love with all the cases, and made it so easy for him to choose what he wanted. The food was amazing, and we also enjoy that it is Faith based. This is a little known (except local) bakery of the highest order. Everything they make it's exceptional. They have recently moved to a new location that allows a better retail sales area. They even have seating so you can enjoy your treat there. If you enjoy 7 layer cakes in many varieties, cheese cake in all flavors, or brownies of any sort you'll love this place! You can buy by the piece or a whole dessert and you can even arrange for custom creations.
