Stopped here on our way to Amarillo for dinner mainly because they had a patio we could sit on with our dog. Food was excellent! Also our server Therese was so nice and thoughtful. They even brought out a bowl of water with ice and a plate of “food” (milk bones) for our dog. Definitely our stopping place when we come through. The food is cooked to order so it will take longer to get to your meal. If you want fast food go to McDonald's. If you want the best food you'll eat away from your mom's home cooking be patient, it is well worth it! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The place was busy that night so the service may be just a little slow. The food oh my goodness they give you lots of food, I definitely left with a doggy bag. The waitress was pleasant in explaining the food to us. In receiving our food everything was delicious lots of food given. But it is pricey. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Not a bad place to eat. The waiter was a bit slow, but friendly. The atmosphere is fun. Chairs are a bit wobbly. Food was good. Fries were crispy and hot. The fish and chips had good flavor. The max and cheese was a fun smoky flavor. The Highlander Pie was a good amount of food, and tasty but needed a bit more salt. The Cheese Logs were huge. They tasted good, but it’s hard to eat that big a mouthful of cheese. All in all, good place to go for dinner or lunch. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

First visit back since the remodel. Very disappointed. The food seems to be the same but now there is no table service and they serve your food in either a box or plastic dish. It makes no sense, serving big portion of thick chicken with tiny plastic forks and knives. The staff seemed almost embarrassed to tell us we had to seat ourselves and get our own drinks and paper napkins on our way. Prices are still the same, but it's way too high for having to eat with plastic. Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

This place is hands down my favorite food place here. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Hands down best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had! If you love mozzarella the way I do you HAVE to have the mozzarella logs, yes logs! Drinks; fantastic. You will not be disappointed with anything at the highlander!! Found this great place by accident as we were driving thru Wichita Falls en route from Dallas towards Amarillo. Love the food (menu was Sunday Brunch menu, and they were serving mimosas too), generous portions, reasonable prices, the great atmosphere of the restaurant and friendly, attentive service. We had the salad with chicken on top, and the chicken sandwich (it's huge!). There's a proper bar area with a really impressive selection of spirits and drinks. We ate inside the restaurant, and there is a covered patio/outside dining area as well. We parked on the street for free because it was Sunday. Highly recommended!

Excellent patio for the dogs and the humans who like to sit out doors! Very accommodating! Great staff! Food was hot and very tasty! Looks like it’s going to be a little scary, but once you get inside, it’s a great experience! Highly recommend the Fish and especially the chips! Also really enjoyed the flavors of the Chicken and Waffles!
