What a disappointment. Went in Saturday morning to purchase wedding cake cupcakes for a Sunday birthday dinner. Owner had not started preparing them and said they would be ready in about an hour and a half. I'm thinking sure, I'll make the 20-minute trip back for fresh cupcakes. How embarrassing...upon serving, the icing was so dry it crumbled at the slightest touch as I removed them from the box and the cake was stale/dry...a heavy, greasy pound cake texture with hard outer edges. No way these were made fresh. Unfortunately, other than the the nice almond flavoring of the icing, grocery store cupcakes would have been better at a fourth of the price. Everybody has a bad baking day at some time in their life. But you don’t usually put it out for someone to eat just to make a little more money. I have always loved their crème horns because they were so lite. Not the last time I bought some. They even threw a few extra just to get rid of them. They were so bad I threw them in the trash $20. Down the drain. So long Chocolate Possum! Food: 1

Special ordered a cherry pie from The Chocolate Possum. Best cherry pie I’ve ever had! At pickup, I also got a lemon bar, apple turnover & butter pecan bar. ALL were fantastic! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
