So amazing! I walked in and immediately felt the warm and exciting atmosphere of the restaurant. The workers were polite and friendly, and I got my food very swiftly. Just one bite of what I got made me realize that I would definitely back for more! If you're ever in Jersey City stop by as soon as you get a chance! My partner had their tacos and got food poisoned. She was vomiting, couldn’t keep any food down, and had very bad diarrhea. We ended up going to the hospital and now she has to take perscriptions and miss work because of the lack there of food safety in this shop. I was not planning to write this review, but when she called the store to tell them about this situation the store owner was extremely rude and hung up on her. Not only do they put her life in jeopardy, they also affected her livelood by putting her out of work for several days. For what? Because they are unwilling to follow the most basic bussiness standard as a restaurant. Guys, there are a lot of other good taco spots around grove street… DO NOT EAT HERE because they don’t care about your health or wellbeing. Literally my FAVORITE food spot. It's a hidden gem that can be found on Newark Avenue. The decor, the music is always fun and all the staff is super nice and kind. My husband and I always get chicken quesadilla, la birria tacos, and churros. I am always craving their food. If i could give this place 10 stars i would! Oscar treated me and my friends so amazingly at 2am on my birthday and even surprised me with a taco and a slice of tiramisu cake w a candle. not only was the service incredible the food was amazing as well. i encourage anyone with an appetite for tacos immediately report to taco drive. what an unbelievable experience.
