Very disappointing. Large unattractive space with tables dispersed far from each other. There is a horseshoe bar that, on Saturday night, was completely unoccupied. The table next to had hosted a party of 10: the dishes were never cleared while we were there. The waiters were weirdly dressed: I wasn’t sure if it was designed to communicate a certain vibe, or just weird. The meal started well with a complimentary salad but went rapidly downhill. The hamachi nigiri was excellent but the toro was chewy and obviously not top quality. The unagi which was served at the end of the meal was too sweet. We ordered the tempura: the shrimp were okay but the vegetables were uninteresting. The meal for 2 cost $130 and we were in and out in 40 minutes. I didn’t understand why they were rushing to serve the food like at a chain restaurant when the place was half empty. Such a large empty space, so you will not find any intimacy type of ambience… But the chef owner is so generous and the quality is absolutely where it should be where it needs to be… And then he surprises you with Wagyu oxtails… Who does that?… Anyway, I'm a sushi guy and that's where I'll go Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Spicy Tuna
