First Time and definitely going back from our server to the food absolutely exceeded my expectations to think it would be like other locations Nope! This one was so flavorful not one thing I'd change. I have never ordered a skillet or any item that wasn't missing something and this Chicken Skillet no bacon added came piping hot just like I like to see the steam and the biscuit soft and reminding me of Sunday mornings when I was little a piece of Nostalgia. The potatoes and eggs cooked just right and the chicken juicy not dry one bit. Our server I believe was Alex or Stephanie my memory isn't the best if I wait to add these but she was amazing I asked for no bacon and it was added but I would've never known if she didn't tell me. She never brought it to the table or told us until they remade it and I really appreciated that plus the wait wasn't bad I just assumed it was from the crowd but it was because she cared. She wanted everything to be right and my husband's Camp Pancakes OMG huge very filling and full of S'mores flavor they nailed it with this one because all we were missing was the campfire lol
Southern Belle's Plainfield is a new fave and I cannot wait to try more items. The place wasn't overcrowded and our food came in good timing. This is a must try for everyone that loves good food and service exceptionally well 210%

Southern Belle's Skillet
Had brunch with a friend and spent 3 hours there catching up. It was a Friday and only at half capacity, so they didn't mind our lingering around.
Our waitress was so sweet, coming back and forth to us (literally 20+ times), checking on our needs for refills of coffee creamers and water. She had such a genuine smile each time!

Went to share lunch with my son. Crystal was attentive, prompt, and very helpful. She kept the drinks filled and even gave us one for the road - she's top notch.
Great to have a local place with good service and really good food. The patty melt was once of the best I have had, the BoNuts are beyond compare, and the cheesy broccoli soup was addictive. Lupe knows her stuff when it comes to soup!
Thanks for helping me make a memory with my son - we'll be back, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Raw and cold sausage, but brought to attention of manager and instead she yelled at us and it’s the seasoning, but didn’t know the seasoning that would cause color discoloration. Asked for a corp phone number but was told no, ge was on vacation.

We tried them on Saturday morning. The wait time was 30 minutes, which was okay. Clean, cozy environment with so many happy and helpful employees. I ordered a steak skillet with pumpkin pancake. The skillet was delicious, came with a biscuit and some jams. The pumpkin pancake was delicious but pretty heavy to my taste. My daughter ordered the country fried steak. It was very dry, and the hash brown came with it was undercooked. Their famous bonuts were scrumptious 😋 they serve freshly fried doughnuts 🍩. Our server Crystal was one of the best waitresses I had. Very happy, informative, and served us in a timely manner. Thank you for that. Prices are a bit high, but considering the quality of the service and the food, i think it was worth visiting.
