Clean, organized, good selection, prices a little higher than I am used to.
What has happened to you being the best place for produce to being the worst? Everything I buy produce wise molds or goes bad within in a day or two it's ridiculous.

I sure hope the management will do a better job taking care of the new store, make sure that carts are available and no trash all over the entrance. Lee's does a wonderful job taking care of their store.
I'm writing in regards to the shameful and atrocious experience my friend and I had in the meat department on Tuesday January 30th. Yesterday after a day of skiing we decided to stop and purchase some salmon filets for dinner. First of all the precut filets looked tired and very dehydrated, fish needs to be displayed and kept on ice in order to prevent this. We must have waited at the counter for at least ten minutes before any one helped us, additionally as we were waiting their was a meat cutter, a middle aged thick mustachioed man who not once bothered to look up. Finally my friend walked over to a tall young man man who was wearing earbuds and asked for help. The customer service representative looked at my friend with disgust and an attitude of "how dare you bother me". The young man walked to the back and spoke with thick mustachioed meat cutter and informed him he had customers to attend to. He came out from behind his very clear window irritated and displeased that he had to help his paying customers. My friend then asked if he can cut four filets four us, he then refused and stated I can't do that I'll lose my job. We then asked him again can you cut us some filets, his reply was no, you have to choose the precut filets, I can lose my job. I can get someone to cut these for you. He walked away and found a lady from the meat department to cut the salmon for us. She then said to us that we had to choose the precut filets, we then explained to her that those filets were not worth taking because they were less than stellar and looked old. Finally she cut the requested filets we wanted and placed the remaining pieces in with the sad looking precut filets. Finally a manager came by to help us, we made a brief comment to him that his staff stated to us, that they were not allowed to cut the large filets. He said that's not true. A word to the people who work in that store, you're never going to get in trouble when you help a customer. I write this from a decade plus in supermarket retail and my friend being a retired district manager for a large retailer in the US. Smiths and parent company Kroger need to review policy and train in basic customer service. F for service and D for product management.
I have had a very good experience with Geremi, Don Artur and Angélica. They are very kind people, they always help me distinguish the meats and are always attentive to what is needed. 🙏❤️
New to the area and very surprised at how poorly Smiths treats customers. I always had good experiences in Utah and with Kroger stores but had to switch to, ugh, Walmart for groceries. Then a local told me about Lees!

Although it's my favorite grocery store in town because it's cheaper than Lee's and Whole Foods and well, it's not nearly as creative-draining as going to Wal-Mart 😘🤭(that's the only grocers we have in the valley), the sale prices not ringing up right EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to Smith's is getting quite annoying. Today especially as I needed to hurry home, but the price difference between what was rung up and what was advertised on 6 items was significant enough to wait in the line for customer service. After a really long wait for someone to send money at the customer service desk (even though the cash register that had rung me up wrong had no customers but wouldn't fix the problem), the woman working Nov 6th at 2pm was VERY rude (no customer service communication ability) and only gave me the price difference on 2 items because I didn't have a picture of the other items and at that point I didn't want to go to the other side of the store to prove it to her. Why are the sale prices consistently not ringing up right? Why do I have to take a picture to prove it? And why do a significant amount of your sales either consist of someone counting similar items because we need the right amount to get that price (so very annoying and time consuming) or require you to download an app? Seriously? It doesn't feel like an honest, straight-forward way of doing buisness. Not everyone wants to be a coupon chaser. On the other hand, the pharmacy at this location is remarkably friendly and helpful. They fill prescriptions in a timely manner and help with medicine questions well. I've been really impressed by them. (Photo added for interest. It rung up for $29.99 so I went and took a picture of the sign which says $16.99)

Great customer service, however I’ve been disappointed by too many of their products. Their meats go bad in two days or less - do not ever purchase from the discounted section. I don’t know if this is a supply chain issue, but allowing perishables to swim in their juices doesn’t help - not really much of a point in them using the paper under the meats. Their bakery items are often undercooked and need to be rebaked at home. The produce is hit or miss - they seem to keep on top of their fast-moving items well, but they don’t keep enough exotics in stock to make it even worth checking if they have them. Cheese selection is great, Murray’s cheese is always friendly and helpful.
I am very disappointed with the customer service. I thought maybe it was just someone having a bad day, but when it happens weekly and every time we go in…thats just bad customer service. My husband went to the deli and he ordered roast beef and then he decided to get ham too. When the guy was done with the roast beef he asked for him to cut ham and the guy argued with him saying that he is going to have to clean the machine and to order the ham before the roast beef. This man was arguing with him and saying that he just caused him an inconvenience. Another time, he went to the deli at 5:30 pm and he was waiting for someone to help him. He called out and he heard someone in the back. Finally someone came out and told him that they were closed and he asked when they closed and he said 7:00 pm when they have 2 people and 6:00 pm when it is only 1 person. My husband said that it was 5:45 pm and the guy told him that he started cleaning already and he couldn’t help him. My husband said that he would wait and he has been waiting. The guy still refused and told him no.

Went to Smith’s today no carts my wife had to go out and get one so we could shop when we went to get our groceries checked out there was a checker and apparently a trainee that stood there and watched all the groceries go through and didn’t even bother putting them in a sack. Good luck with your new store. You can’t even find employees for the small one you have now good luck my last time shopping at Smith’s.
