Sad food, sad portions. The tostadas were unbelievably plain, the chicken tasted like shredded rotisserie chicken from Costco. But less flavor. I asked for tobasco and that helped. The French toast taste wasn't bad, but it was so flat and kind of just tasted like toasted whole wheat bread not much to it. And again, a beyond small portion for the price. This simple brunch was near $40 dollars and I just can't say that it was worth it. On a positive note, the place is beautiful, good music, and good location. But can't say id return. Meal type Brunch
Very charming place with nice music, but the food was extremely disappointing. $16 for two pieces of toasted Wonder Bread being called "French toast" is baffling. The chicken tostada was also extremely bland. Portions were very small and we left hungry. I'm puzzled by the positive reviews, it must be based on the atmosphere alone, or we caught them on a bad day (except for the fact that we were the only customers on a Sunday brunch time). Lovely local coffee bistro. With so many chain eateries it’s nice to have a true local place. The Americanos are robust and come so nicely presented. The Avocado toast with cucumber is very nice. Great seasoning. The staff is great and obviously take great care of there customers. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Revising my review from several months ago. This used to be our favorite place but unfortunately they took off every single gluten-free item off the menu. You can’t even get an omelette anymore. This used to be our favorite go to place on the weekends, but dropping from our go to Saturday, Sunday breakfast place as you can’t egg, or an omelette. Everything seems premade now what a shame it was a great place. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was amazing! I got the shrimp tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had. I liked the vibe of the restaurant and even the bathroom was upscale. Pretty sure I met the owner and she was really sweet, the staff were attentive and helpful as well. We will definitely be back!

Quaint, tasty, and great service! The breads are all made from scratch in house. The Nutella popover was a hit with my child, and I seriously think the French toast is the best I have ever had!!!! They make a special espresso based cocktail that you have to try! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30

I’ve lived in the Woodlands for over 20 years and this is an awesome addition to the places to eat. Not very big but trust it makes an IMPACT. It’s in a perfect location if you just finished a walk at the waterway and want something different. That’s when I went. Here we go!! The menu for breakfast is coffee and avocado toast, omelettes and for sweetness French toast. I loved the simple menu…perfect. Let me start by saying I’m not a huge fan of avocado toast BUT I ordered the Texas Avocado Toast and it was AMAZEBALLS. Served on ciabatta bread one half had the avocado and poached egg and the other with avocado and chorizo. Each slice also had thinly sliced cucumbers (unexpected but added to the toast) it was flavorful but not overwhelming was kinda zesty. I would order again in a heart beat!! French toast was delicious. Had a nice crisp and flavor. It was perfectly made and served with just the right amount of syrup because you really don’t need much could have ate it without it. Cappuccino was so good. It wasn’t bitter very smooth and I always add sugar but it was great even before I put the sugar in it. Overall service….A…staff was sweet and my food came quickly and hot. Ten out ten would recommend and return. If you are in the area and you want something light but filling hit them up. There is outdoor seating as well and parking garage in the back. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $30–50

Stopped at Simona’s for lunch on a Saturday - the place is adorable! The interior and exterior decorations made me feel like I was in a cute bistro on vacation. My boyfriend and I shared the chicken quesadillas, omelette a la mexicana, and Mayan awake smoothie. The portion sizes were good and all the food was very tasty! The owner was really sweet - I’d love to come back to support their business. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Simona's. She clearly cares about the comfort and enjoyment of her customers. No detail is overlooked. Patio dining was just delightful. The well known Spanish songs created an old world atmosphere and set the mood. Music wasn't too loud. But the food!!!!!.... mmmm... My husband raved about his turkey sandwich and how surprisingly good the jam tasted with it. He said the salad had a delicious dressing. My tomato soup and grilled cheese were spot on. Portions were good and everything tasted fresh. We'll be back for sure!! The inside of the bistro is just adorable. Tastefully decorated and cozy for breakfast or lunch.
