I feel Shane's is the best bbq in town. Food is always fresh and if ordered online or from phone.. It's always ready the time they tell you it will be. Also, they check you order in front of you before leaving with pickup order. Brunswick stew is one of the I've eaten. Prices are very reasonable and it's definitely worth checking out. I can not explain how good the ribs I had were! I grew up with Sonny's as the gold standard. When my sister recently moved to the area and said she found a BBQ place better than Sonny's I had to visit and check it out. OMG it was amazing. I had the 1/2 slab baby back ribs with fries and beans. The ribs were perfect & fall off the bone. The fries were great and plenty of them. The baked beans actually had onions and peppers in them (not spicy). The only thing that was not super impressive was the toast it was just average not real garlic bread. My sister got the sampler which had chicken strips, ribs, pulled pork & onion rings. The chicken strips were wonderful and the onion rings were amazing (and I'm picky about what a good onion ring is!) I would absolutely come back! I picked up food to take home, but it was all very delicious even if the fries had gotten soggy on the half hour drive. The okra is out of this world! It tastes fresh made not frozen.
