Experience at Sanderlings was great. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating but we still had a great meal. Highly recommend the smoked tomato bisque if it's available. Portions are sharable but also prices are steep. Check the bill vs the menu as we got over charged for a couple items. Restaurant desperately needs a face-lift as it's very 90s. Lovely food and drinks, with amazing views over the Pacific. We came here with a local friend and the food delivered on every level. I had the beef, which was seriously tasty and tender - the speed at which it disappeared off my plate was testament to how great this was. The others had the scallops and the halibut and both were also fantastic and can be recommended. The cocktails were also forthcoming and very well received! The only negative to report is that without a reservation - even though the restaurant was virtually empty - they were apprehensive to seat us, and made it seem like they were doing us a favour to be seated.
