It's so nice stopping into Rosatis to order a slice of pizza or two for the kids. They could eat pizza everyday of the week. My wife and I split a giant Italian beef and cheese sandwich served on garlic bread. They put it in the oven until the cheese was slightly toasted brown. The Giardiniera is really good!!! Ordered on a Sunday night a week ago. Pizza was delivered looking like it had been dropped several times. A total mess. Order taker hung up in the middle of giving directions. When call was made to complain about the messed up Pizza, all manager was willing to do was a $5.00 discount on another order. I’m originally from the NW Chicago area. Rosatis in Schaumburg was a staple in my home. I loved it so much my buddies would prank me with pickup orders that had anchovies and I’d plow that pie. I moved to LA over 10 yrs ago. Needless to say the pizza there is not up to snuff. So I just day dream of Chicago tavern style and the occasional deep dish pie. I come home every now and again and Rosatis is a must. Always great, but I got a hot tip from a local gym teacher that Barrington’s was the bees knees. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. This was one of the best pies I’ve ever had. I dropped to my knees and weeped over the extra cheese and perfect sausage balls I was delivered today. Don’t even think twice….call this Rosatis and get ready to feel warm and fuzzy inside. This pie slaps. Thank you Rosatis of Barrington. I can die a happy clam.
