Cozy pub with local beers on tap. Mix of locals and tourists. Comfortable seats or high tops available. They serve delicious hot dogs too. Friendly bartender. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This place is not family friendly and staff are confused about the policy around when kids are allowed in, if at all. We were left feeling embarrassed on two occasions. One around 8pm after we'd already been in the pub playing family games for an hour The second was on our day of departure around 12pm when my wife and son were already inside having ordered soft drinks whilst we await our taxi for the airport but me and my daughter where denied entry about 10 minutes later. My wife ultimately argued our case and how stupid the Rorbua were being and they let us all in. This is the only place in Tromso where there is so much confusion and as the place right across from our hotel and in the central tourist hub it's not at all friendly to families. There is no signage explaining the policy, and we've had no joy in making sense of it. My recommendation would be to avoid this place and for the Rorbua Pub to be far more welcoming and to train their staff and put up clear signs. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Went for a drink on a saturday night. There was a band. People were happy and dancing. The band seems good but personally didn’t recognize any song so didn’t enjoy it very much. The selection of drinks at the bar is mainly beer.. didnt see Cocktails or something special. The pub is cosy and big, 2 floors and was full! Congratulations! Price per person kr 100–200 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

It was very nice there with nice music, until a group of Norwegian students rudely took over our table. despite requests to give us our table so that we could return to drinking our drinks and snacks... these people ignored us and made the atmosphere very bad. a very unpleasant example of lack of hospitality. It's a pity because so far we've had a wonderful time here Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Staff member disinterested, only food available is pizza from pizzeria next door (snacks are nuts/chips) and tables are left used from previous patrons (good luck finding a clean table). Only Mack Beers on tap. 250nok for 1 red and 1 beer. Wouldn’t waste your time, get some food/beer from the shop and eat at home. Pathetic. Most authentic pub in Oslo? Weak point is the beer selection as naturally very focused in Mack who produce very average beers. Needs to get some of Lervig’s in here! Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Beer was fine but the bartender seemed disinterested in helping us select from taps we'd never heard of/tried. Thankfully everyone liked what they ordered. We sat towards the back and about fifteen mins in the band started to show up with all of their gear for live music. We might've stayed to listen but as people came in and greeted each other and moved around us, they genuinely made us feel as if we were in the way. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We finished our beers and headed out to find a new place. In Tromsø I really like to eat seafood and fish. Pizza with shrimps and salmon immediately become the must! Even if dough was to fat for my personal liking, the toppings were delicious, combined perfectly with pesto sauce 😃 very good price for 1 person pizza, recommended to all who needs fast and tasty meal. Price per person kr 100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really enjoyed this place. As we were there during the the infamous covid-days, I felt like the place took good care to prevent infections and still provide a fun might out. We got our own table, ordered at the bar, and they came with the drink to the table. Thought drinking, people were following the guidelines and guards took a round every now and then to keep up with what was going on. When I'm in Tromsø again, this will absolutely be a place I visit again😎🤘😁

This is a lovely warm and cosy place to stop by to refuel yourself on a day of exploring. A warm greeting by staff was the first positive of many. The girl holding the fort today was so friendly and I felt at home right away. The place is very well kept and has a very homely sort of feeling but also a very rustic feel too. The nachos were delicious and very filling. I feel I could be back again before I leave.
