The food was good but not for the price that was charged. I brought my wife and young kids for an evening meal and like I said food was good. I was very upset I was charged a mandated gratuity for my young kids who I tended to. I would not recommend going to Rhinehardts if you have kids, they will take advantage of you with the 17% gratuity for a party of 5 or more. I had 5 in my party 3 of whom were young children. The atmosphere is what you expect of an Oyster Bar. If you want to socialize, the bar top is perfect. There are both indoor and outdoor tables if you want to dine in either friends/family away from the bar. I love their oysters raw or steamed. Another go-to is peel and eat shrimp (especially on Tuesdays when it's the special). They have great lunch specials that run until 4 p.m. The frisky shrimp pasta! Trust me, try it! I also love their take on shrimp and grits. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fried katfish. I have been here probably a dozen times when in the area for work, and that was the only meal I didn't devour. Lindsey is the best bartender if you choose to sit at the bar! Kinda wish Blane could be our server always. Definitely good at his job. Snooty redneck was a good tasting drink. Boiled shrimp was good. Frank's special and burger were very good. Fries too! Rhinehart's Oyster Bar has been popping up in my social media, so I decided to give it a try. I was definitely not disappointed. We went on a Monday and had the special boiled shrimp with a side of rice. It was the most delicious shrimp I've had in a long time. We will definitely be back for Friday's special. We got there a little after 5 and didn't have to wait to be seated. By the time we left a little after 6, the crowd started coming in. It's very worth the wait and the prices were great! When passing through Augusta, or, just locally hungry for a great meal, a great lunch stop or supper stop! Our latest was a lunch on the way to Columbia and we ordered a Katfish Basket and a Frisky Shrimp. The Frisky Shrimp was so good, we almost got into a fight over it!
