We made a reservation through Social Deal for a special occasion, and after a long drive we unfortunately were surprised by the food and salad bar. Stakes were a bit larger than a coin and as we asked for the extra Stake, we had to wait for a long time. The dessert (baklava) was not really what one may expect from a baklava. This was our favorite restaurant in the Netherlands. Everything tasted incredible, all of the meats were perfectly cooked and tender, great prices and large portions meant I got to enjoy it for lunch the next day as well. We loved it so much we tried to go back on our last night in the country but found they were closed for their regular schedule. If we lived in or around Gouda, we would be there once a week. Really bad avoid at all costs bad food waited more than one hour for a beer and a glass of wine around 2 hours in total wait for disgusting tasteless food at least there is a disgusting tasteless salad buffet to keep you busy. This restaurant served me worst bubble gum meat I have ever had as pork tenderloin, food took about an hour to arrive, main service lady was sloppy and not intrested in trying to correct multiple mistakes she made. Really unprofessional. Luckily many of our group had satisfactory eating experience, not great though. Toilets dirty and tables partially unclean. I’ve had a good experience here. Came with vouchers from social deal a few months ago for “all you can eat”. There was a salad bar, with potato, lettuce, cabbage and other cold options. We were served this bread with herbal butter as a starter, then a plate of different meats with rice, chips and sauce as side. Everything was warm and tasted good. We had a baklava for desert that was quite big so we could share, it was served with ice-cream and a biscuit. There restaurant inside looked like a cave, very interesting architecture. The only positive side was friendly staff.. The salad bar was not a bar but 3 salads which was remaining at the bottom of the bowl.. The meat quality was not good and the dish was not hot enough.. The rice bowl was almost cold and not cooked well.. There was no enough plates on the salad bar even.. We asked to change one of our plates because of the bad smell... I'm not going to try it again..

This is my 4th time in this restaurant and in terms of service and most of the food I am very satisfied. Unfortunately today the chicken had a distinct off-smell. In the days that I had a restaurant I would have never served that chicken. So 4 instead of 5 stars and a recommendation for better training of kitchen staff.
