I walked into Red Lobster, and the smell of delicious seafood hit me. The waiter was super friendly, helped us pick the best dishes. The lobster tail was so juicy, and the cheesy biscuits were a taste explosion! Great atmosphere, good food, and friendly service made it a fantastic experience. I recently dined at the Red Lobster in Lincolnwood, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a fantastic meal. One of the highlights of my visit was undoubtedly the famous Red Lobster biscuit. These biscuits are legendary for a reason! They arrived at the table piping hot, with a golden-brown crust and a fluffy, buttery interior. They were incredibly flavorful and practically melted in my mouth. I could have made a meal out of those biscuits alone! But the praise doesn't stop at the biscuits. The seafood selection at Red Lobster is exceptional. I savored every bite of the lobster tail I ordered, and the shrimp scampi was bursting with flavor. The attentive and friendly staff ensured that our dining experience was top-notch, making us feel like valued guests. If you're a seafood lover, or if you just want to indulge in those incredible biscuits, I wholeheartedly recommend Red Lobster in Lincolnwood. It's a culinary experience you won't want to miss! Red lobster is a place some people might liken to and Olive garden. The reason I say this is because some might say that it's low end seafood compared to places like Bob Chen's. But I have to say that their quality is pretty reasonable, food is always been good there. Their damn cheddar biscuits are literally the most amazing bread that I've had at any restaurant that I can remember. I would literally just eat a basket of those if it was possible and I believe there are other people that definitely agree with me so I'm moving on from this, but damn they're good. Services. Services always nice. The people there are always nice and they see you relatively quickly. Even if there are a number of people waiting. On the overall. It's a good seafood place to go. If you just want to get something nice, the prices aren't horrifying and I think you'll be happy when you walk out. And again, those damn cheddar biscuits are ridiculously amazing. Hadn't been in a while and enjoyed the food! We ordered two pick 3 shrimp @ $22 - shrimp scampi and doubled up on the coconut shrimp, a pick 2 @ $18 - dragon shrimp (mildly spicy, sweet and sour battered fried shrimp) and shrimp scampi, seafood stuffed mushrooms, and chowder. Very good Coconut Shrimp. The stuffed mushrooms were well stuffed and tasty; chowder and biscuits were also tasty but I don't recall the biscuits being so fall apart (hard to catch all the pieces)! They offered a $5 drink special with a limited choice of a wine (red or white), a Blue Moon beer, or a small margarita-like cocktail which was fine for us. Called ahead on an early Saturday night to see how long a wait it was. Only 15 min but was added to the waitlist even tho we were 45 min away. Seated just a few min after we arrived so it worked out well. "Funny" that with my 90+ y-o mother walking slowly with a cane that we were seated way in the back section. The only issue was the mixed service. Server was a young lady. The soup came first but was followed quickly by the appetizer and all the entrees. Had to ask for a straw for mom's lemonade and twice for the biscuits that came at the end of the meal but I think she said she gave us a couple more because of that. With the table full of dishes, and none picked up, it was hard to pack the leftovers. Ok. But after the bill was dropped off, (and still juggling empty leftover boxes on my lap) the server came by for payment which I hadn't gotten to yet, and stood and waited for me to pay. This even prompted my friend to ask whether they were closing out - but no, since we were seated at about 7:30 and it was about 9 p.m. (Sorry, but that was unpleasant.) Did appreciate that the tip table on the receipt stated that it was calculated based on total incl taxes. Left a $21 tip on a $120 tab anyway, pandemic and all. Would come back for the food and hopefully improved service. Update and Warning; returned recently. Food was good. Our favorite is still the coconut shrimp. And service was much improved - was seated in the bar section closer to the entrance for my elderly mom who has difficulty walking, water and biscuits upon seating, and removal of dishes until the last course. However, there was a mixup in our order. Only 2 of us ordered soup. One server brought one soup, another server then brought out two soups which we returned one to the kitchen. If the servers were confused, it's a good warning to check your bill which I didn't until after leaving where 3 soups instead of 2 were charged. Had dinner here with my uncle and Grandmother to celebrate her birthday. I'm sure they enjoyed it, but I can't really speak for them. I, on the other hand, had a wonderful time there! The place had a nice vibe to it. 5 star service - Excellent! Our waitress was super nice and patient with my indecisive a**. The server who brought us the food provided excellent service as well. The only thing that made this place 4 stars was the extreme butter in the shrimp. When he set the shrimp down right in front of me all i saw was a bunch of butter..I thought to myself "What the blood clot?!" Lol I think everything was smothered in butter, i don't know. I'm not gonna complain about them biscuits though👀 Those were fire!🔥🔥🔥👏 I would most definitely come back for those.
