I have gone to many açai places just to find one similar than the one back home and raining berries is by far the best one, when you walk in the staff welcomes you with a smile and they fill up the açai with fruit, the açai also tastes like açai, it is not mixed with anything. I also tried the smores mocha latte and it is by far the best latte I have ever tasted. The last time I ordered something I got a gourmet grilled cheese and I have to say it is the best grilled cheese I have ever tasted! I walked in and asked for a bowl with yogurt instead of açaí. They told me they were “not allowed”. I explained I have done this three times in the past and they looked at me like I was nuts. While I might be crazy, I’m definitely not blind. I can see the yogurt over the counter and all they needed to do was scoop it one time. I get it, it’s 45 min before closing and you’re tired. I’m tired too and I was looking forward to this all day. Maybe they would have gotten in trouble and I should just let it go. I did let it go, I didn’t complain I said ok and left. But now I’m empty handed toying with the idea of going to mochinut because not only are they open, they will be nice to me. I just wanted some yogurt in my bowl. Next time I’ll bring the yogurt and ask for no açaí or maybe I’ll just drive to grain and berry. Maybe I’ll get lucky and the owners will do something about this because I’m sure yogurt is cheaper than açaí. Especially when I wanted a small scoop. I’ll even tip the amount of the bowl. Been here twice and both times and while the atmosphere is very trendy, the açaí bowls have been a disappointment. The first time, the employee barely put any fruit in my bowl and I just got home from giving them another chance to find there’s BARELY any açaí in my bowl, like at all. I thought maybe I had come in before they closed? Nope. Ordered at 8:20ish and google says they’re open until 10. So I came here because you can get your coffee in an actual coffee cup instead of a to go cup! so I order a cappuccino in a cup, I get my coffee. He made it into a to go cup. I said, please make it for here in a cup, so instead of making my drink, he made the people behind me drink! made me wait! I asked for sugar (oh, the other thing atmosphere. horrible, lighting to airy huge) . You have to walk all the way back to the front of the place! I asked for sugar he tells me it’s all the way to the front, I get to the front there’s no sugar, I asked the girl upfront for sugar, I’m told that I have to wait cus there ate people looking at the mean! I said you’re going to make me wait until they order, to go get me some sugar? So I asked for a refund Service: 1
