Really nice spot for a drink or 2. The option to buy plants is a fun bonus, and they have a nice selection of them. The cocktails were pretty, and the house wine was a decent bottle, with more complexity than I was expecting from a cocktail bar. Kind waitstaff, although an appetizer order was forgotten. No problem, the food did smell good, I may have to try again next time. Price per person $1–10 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This was a cool little bar that I had no idea was there; We stopped in for cocktails before an event, and the drinks were creative and tasty (though a little spendy); Nice presentation and nice ingredients Price per person $10–20

Amazing food, drinks, service, and Atmosphere makes Pots and Shots a hidden gem worth visiting. This is a place for a quick drink, snack, lunch, and de-stress. I’m not much of a plant person (I don’t have a green thumb) but this place was amazing! The air was so fresh because of all the plants and the atmosphere was very comfy. The bruschetta was very good and the drinks were too. I’ll be coming back in the future! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This bar is a really cute place to hang out and get a drink! Their drinks are a little pricey and they have a very small food menu (things like chips and guac, bruschetta, mushroom poppers) so eat beforehand! The staff were attentive and got all our drinks right. We went for happy hour and got t mules (pretty strong). Very lovely bar/plant shop combo. We went on a late Saturday afternoon and the place was completely packed. All the plants looked very happy. There were also some pots and other plant accessories available. Would definitely go back! Update: came back for drinks on a Thursday night and the place was maybe half full - a good crowd for a weeknight. Our table got a Tom Collins, a Single Village and a Black Manhattan and we’re all happy.

This place is incredible!! Such a fun and unique concept. Super inviting and super chill. I was here for hours just having a good time. The plant shop portion is open late as well. The bartenders are very friendly and really fast. They make a lot of components of the drinks fresh. The peach/cucumber mule was to die for. I will be coming back. Their happy hour is really nice as well. You must try if in the West Des Moines area.
