The atmosphere here is nice and unique - more of an upscale Mexican food restaurant. Service lacked a great deal. Our server lacked personality - we didn’t know if she was mad or not. Everything was slow: we had to ask refills on water and soda, needed to remind her about items previously requested. Dinner food was okay. Some dishes were better than others. We ordered two different kind of desserts and both were bad. The buneulos were so stale. It should have been delicate, easily crumble. However, they were more like rubber. The tres leches was off and dry for that particular dessert. It was unfortunate because the actual restaurant had a nice vibe. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
If you want something pretty to look at, the ambiance is good. That concludes my list of positive things to say. I think it’s gonna be my new motto that if they have Salt and pepper on the table, it’s because they don’t know how to season their food. Service, horrible. Took forever for a waitress to even bring our water to the table. No drink menu asked for one, took her 15 minutes to come back after she gave it to us. overall took forever to come out. I get that it was packed, but if you don’t have the staff to serve the tables, close the tables… Food. Save your money and go to Taco Bell. One Crunchy Taco shell will have more flavor than their $20 beef Fajitas… the bell peppers were heated up in a pan not cooked. I am convinced they Microwaved my the whole beef and shrimp fajita plate, threw it on a skillet then called it a day. Which confuses me because it took 30 minutes to come out Some people in here saying this is “Authentic Mexican food” WHAT?! THIS ISNT EVEN GOOD TEXMEX. Their Salsa tastes like they blended some tomatoes and called it a day. Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

The atmosphere is beautiful and I loved the outdoor spaces as well. They make guac on the spot which I really loved. The guac and civeche was super wonderful! I loved the appetizer. I got recommended to try the signature dish ‘09 which was delicious and pretty good but it wasn't The best enchiladas I have had. I would recommend it to go again for the atmosphere and staff but just know that the parking lot is full and super hard to find. I had struggled finding place. Overall, the dishes might be bit pricy but the atmosphere was good as well as staff. REVIEW: Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine 5800 Broadway #300, San Antonio, TX 78209 This has been a spot that we enjoy. Onto my Ratings - Day of: HOUSE MARGARITA (8): These babies are very good! Go great on the rocks with Tajin and Squeezed Limes. Three may make you tipsy. One if you're my wife. 😆 GUACAMOLE OLMECA Prepared Tableside - (9.5): Hass avocado mixed with onion, cilantro, tomato, lime, and orange juice, seasoned with salt and pepper, then topped with chilitos toreados. It is prepared and served in a HEAVY DUTY molcajete! ❤️ it! CRISPY BEEF TACO PLATE (7): Now these were good, however, the shells were very soggy. CHILE RELLENO - TRADITIONAL DE CARNE (8): Poblano pepper filled with ground beef, potatoes, and queso Monterrey. Battered, then lightly fried and covered with Salsa Española. This was very good, flavorful, and probably one of their better plates. ENCHILADAS VERDES (8) Two cheese or chicken enchiladas covered in our tangy tomatillo sauce, melted queso Monterrey, and topped with sour cream. Served with guacamole. Let me put it this way... My daughter licked the plate. No seriously, I wish I was lying. REFRIED BEANS (8): Creamy and fresh. Very flavorful, especially when scooped up with fresh Tortillas. CHARRO BEANS (7): Not too bad. LUPE TORTILLAS blows these out of the boiling water. SPANISH RICE (8): Very soft, light, flavorful, and worth taking home with the refried beans. CHIPS (7): These were not bad. Prefer the fluffy kind like GARCIA'S Mexican Restaurant. They did their job. RED SALSA (7): This was not bad, but seemed bland. ROASTED SALSA (8): This was better than the red salsa. It tasted like it had more of a depth in flavor. FLOUR TORTILLAS (8.5): Thick and Soft. Great with butter. Yes, I wrote it! BUTTER! SODAS - FOUNTAIN (7.5): These were fine as long as they didn't have too much ice to water them down. SODAS - BOTTLED (9.5): Can't go wrong, but it can be costly on the refills. ICE (9): Tasted clean and fresh with no bad aftertaste. ATMOSPHERE (9): This is a great location with warm decor inside and outside. Fans when it's warm and Heaters when it's cool outside. SERVICE (8): Is usually on point. There will be pickle and dime moments, but they are pretty attentive. Super friendly at the close of the ticket. OVERALL (8): This is a place where we've met friends. Great atmosphere and will be returning as usual. I went there on 12/24 at around 1:30 PM alone. After being seated, a plate of chips is served with two kind of sauce. I ordered a mix fajitas, which is my favorite Mexican dish. I substitute the salad for the rice and fried beans. People can also choose steam vegetables. Besides, the waiter gave me 4 tortillas (2 flour, 2 corn). The mix fajitas tastes really good. It is not as oils as the ones I always have. The only thing that is different from my expectation is that the mix means beef and chicken. Usually, when I ordered a mix fajitas, it comes with all the meat (usually, beef, chicken and shrimp) on the menu. The corn tortillas is soft and the flour tortillas is chewy. I loved the tortillas a lot. For me, when I see the menu, I feel like this restaurant is a little bit luxury. After considering the atmosphere and the quality of food, it really worth the price. Such a beautiful place with absolutely delicious food! I had Pollo Asado and it was divine! Best Mexican food I ever had. We sat outside, and we had a few pleasant visits by the little sparrows. The staff were friendly and super helpful. They brought us nachos with salsa and refilled the nachos once we finished them. We asked for more napkins and they brought us plenty! To me the best way to judge a Mexican restaurant is by their guacamole and their fajitas. If they can’t make those right and taste well to me, it’s definitely shows their level of competency in their cuisine of choice. My guacamole was done tableside and tasted fabulous, the chips that they brought I think were a little bit overdone, but my fajitas were phenomenal. I definitely had to take to go back home so I’ll get to eat more tomorrow. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was at the beginning of my evening here there was an issue about my service animal. We were able to talk it out and make it work. I really appreciate the senior manager on site who even came out to me in the parking lot as I was leaving to tell me that he had looked at the ADA website, but was also reaching out to their legal department to find out what the legal requirements are for customers with service animals. That impressed me quite a lot. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tableside Guacamole

From the moment we arrived, we were promptly seated, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and casual. I ordered the Mango Chamorita which is a frozen Margarita. Alrhough, I prefer my drinks on the rocks, I tried it and it was still pleasant. One highlight of our meal was the Guacamole Olmeca, which was prepared right at our table. It was absolutely excellent, and what made it even better was the fact that the waitress kindly made it with less pepper to suit my preference for milder flavors. Her friendly, accommodating, and attentive service really stood out. For my main course, I ordered the Mole Enchiladas, and I must say, they were outstanding. The combination of sweet and savory flavors was absolutely delightful, and I enjoyed EVERY bite. My husband ordered the Carne Asada Tampiquena, and he was equally impressed. The meat was tender and cooked exactly as he had requested. They offer a variety of enticing options, and I'm already looking forward to trying out other dishes on our next visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would highly recommend Paloma Blanca to anyone who appreciates excellent Mexican cuisine.
