Really wanted this to be nice but too many things didn't go well. This is all SELF-service, meaning you walk into your room like an Airbnb. They were very transparent that the airport was loud and boy were they right. Noise-canceling ear plugs are a must. They reached out only with instructions to enter the room. We had to call the hotel to learn about more (WIFI password, there is a very small Coffee machine in a shared area, etc) Outside of that, our stay did not go well. We entered our first floor room to puddles on the floors and our AC didn't work. We had to call because we were the only people on-site and the best they could do was to send someone the following day. No service for the bar or pool given we stayed on a weekday. Would not recommend the trouble staying here. Recommendation to Ownership: Please provide more information during check-in about times, and information about the hotel. Our welcome email was clearly copy / pasted becuase they called us the wrong name.

10 minute ride from the airport. Once arriving to Numero Uno Pinones and after the second or third phone call here is what we encounter: 1. A nice facility, clean, off the grid neighborhood that appears to be what some others stated stretchy, but to us it's not. It's thriving and safe. You walk by and see neighbors with doors and windows open to enjoy the Caribbean refreshing air. I would have to say somewhat of an side street, close to restaurants and nightlife maybe a 7 minute walk. 2. We were the only people checked in as of Friday in a ten room facility. Cool with me. But unfortunately for us because we like to mingle a little and watch for human action and enjoy our surroundings in company of others. Other reviews stated, they were welcomed with snacks when they arrived to their room, and the bar and restaurant onsite was open on weekends between certain hours. Unfortunately, for us this was discontinued and we weren't able to book elsewhere because we weren't going to be reimbursed according to policy. Although this seems discouraging to clients and not for the business. I get the business aspect of it concerning operating cost. Should this be case? Which to me it is. As a business you should able accommodate elsewhere. Example a free pickup and drop off at least twice within a 4 day stay, or offer a bottle of wine to help them unwind from a long day travel, would be helpful to your guest since they reserved lodging at your facility. Our hard earned dollars are spent at our choice of a local business to help lift up Puerto Rico. This is why went with a local establishment verse a commercial establishment. 3. The others comments were about the airplane noise and the hens sounds within the neighborhood. It's wasn't a disturbance to us at all. We are native from NYC, and I now residing in the south. So somewhat same environment. The planes taking off noise it is not as bad as others commented at all. The sound of the plane noise it's less than 7 seconds not every 15 to 30 minutes, but it seems to be every 45 minutes if that. As for the hens it's natural and they are barely heard. I say welcome to the surban side of town. 4. The facility pictures are exactly liked the photos. I love it. 5 stars for that. Room 301, when the air conditioner is off builds a condensation on the tile floor, so be careful as not to slip. Keep the air on to prevent this from happening. Email entry was given after the second call the day we arrived. To gain entry is manually electronically done for both wooden door and double glass door. We had an issue with the wooden gate door, it would not open after using the keypad. Luckily maintenance was onsite and one of reps at another site was able buzz us in. In our room we gained a gate clicker and that resolved our entry problem for the rest of stay. Your key is in a black lockbox to gain entry into your room. Parking is available if you choose to drive. Note Uber doesn't come to pick up in this neighborhood after dark, due heavily congestion of traffic because of nightlife. But you can get dropped off. 5. Numero Uno Pinones can be a total VIBE, at some point. I really hope for the best for this business. I think a Friday or a Saturday live band and dinner out back once a week would really be nice and set the tone especially if you have a somewhat full house.A request was was granted to have a coconut out the tree to sip on by the pool. Suggestion: It would be helpful to a small laundry room, for those whom choose to was their belongings prior to traveling back home. Quite, upcoming spot, and I may look to book in the future.
