We all had the chicken tortilla soup. It's a friend's favorite. Might be spicy to some customers. I had a BLT. Norms has a good one. My friends liked their food, too. Today the waiter was below average on service. The food took a long time to come out when it did come out it was between warm and cool. I had the veggie omelette it was minus the avocado and tomatoes. It was an exercise to get coffee refills. Our waiter was stocky guy wearing a green sports jersey about 35/40 years of age? Really really loved everything about our visit at this Norms today in El Monte! My lil family of four stopped here for a quick early dinner at around 430pm before heading back home to the Imperial Valley (where we have no good places to eat 🥺), and we wanted to enjoy some delicious breakfast/brunch style food and this place did not disappoint 🤩 c’mon who does not enjoy bkfst for dinner?! 😋 Food was delish but service was top notch! Thank you to our waitress Noemi, I believe was her name 🤔. Her recommendations for food were chefs kiss! I went to have dinner with my family yesterday around 6ish. Our server was Noemi, she was very attentive, no detail was missed! One of my boys ordered a burger and she made sure his fries were nice, hot, and crispy. Our food was great and she was constantly checking on us to make sure we had drinks filled and asked if we needed/wanted anything else. We loved the service we were provided and we even asked her what days she worked to make sure she's there when we dine here again. We've been to many Norms and service needs to rise to the occasion from other locations and take notes from Noemi and the cooking staff here!! I went to have lunch with my children today around 4:30ish and just wanted to share that the service was great. Our server Nohemi was very friendly and attentive. She made sure our food was brought out in a timely manner and hot and made sure we had everything we needed during our whole time there.
