This this restaurant was very relaxing. It’s definitely a date night places to just chill and nice music and the food was absolutely amazing. Every piece was so great. The waiter was very nice and the bartender downstairs Brandon was really great fun and he made great drinks. I had catfish was delicious and yes, it was a little crispy, but it very delicious. the I’m Alma grits just melting in your mouth, true grits. Oysters were very fresh and salad was delicious. Despite our late arrival after a flight, this restaurant graciously welcomed us with open doors. Seated promptly, I opted for the exquisite oysters and a delightful tuna salad. Nice cozy establishment food was delicious. I had the Jambalaya w side collard greens... husband had the bacon wrapped scallops with rosatto, we both had she crab bisque for appetizer. Food was Amazing, server at the bar was GREAT! The hostess experience was a pretty ridiculous. I highly recommend reservations, especially after the first hostess refused to seat us because we had no reservation, not even at the bar. She told us the reservation line opens back up at 7pm. I stood there at 6:42pm, went online and booked a reservation for 7pm. Another hostess came about and served us and sat us at the bar with no problem. The first hostess was seen in bar areas asking people to move and leave if they didn't have reservations. The whole reservation deal was pretty ridiculous and annoying, people were upset. We had a light leisurely dinner here. Nice ambience. Very much enjoyed the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Fresh and juicy. Do not miss the brussel sprout appetizer. The best brussel sprouts we've ever had! Lobster dinner is actually lobster tail. It was cooked well but our group did not care for the edamame that was served with it. Maybe an off night. Overall nice meal.
