I love this place and was a regular customer, but recently the prices have skyrocketed to a ridiculous level. Paid over 8€ for a single takeaway bagel with cream cheese and avocado, not toasted or anything - used to be 5-6€. The explanation I was given by the very nice staff was that the prices increased due to minimum wage increasing, but the point of that increase was to make the current economy with its already inflated prices livable. As someone who earns minimum wage, to me it just seems tone-deaf for a business. I understand having to increase prices out of necessity, but I find it hard to believe a price hike this steep is necessary. Service Take out Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

During a quick visit, I was immediately taken with their offerings, opting for a white chocolate framboise cookie paired with a cappuccino. Both were excellent. As the place had just opened for the day, I was the sole customer, allowing for a uniquely quiet and attentive service experience. My only experience with bagels is with bagels & beans which is pretty much toast with a hole. This is the first time I had a proper bagel and it was delicious! Unfortunately we were on a little tasting quest through the neighbourhood otherwise I would have ordered another one. I had the California BLT and it was super tasty! Perfect bagel and generous toppings. I left the cafe with a pack of frozen everything bagels to recreate the taste at home. I will definitely visit again!
