Cozy & lovely cafe with a small selection of drinks and bakery. The staff and owner are really nice and the resident dog is definitely a cool addition! Will revisit soon.

Any coffee shop that has a resident dog on staff is automatically rated 5 stars! 🐶🤩 Piper, the dog, will welcome you as soon as you enter the door! Mountain House Cafe is a real treat, and the owner, John, was extremely welcoming! We stayed close by for a conference and this coffee shop just so happened to be right in the neighborhood. John did a wonderful job renovating the building and the interior is very cozy. The coffee and pastry were both very good! ☕️ Looking forward to stopping by at least once more before leaving St. Louis. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by Mountain House for your coffee fix. Be sure to say hello to Piper and John!

A very great place to get coffee. Great atmosphere and decor. Friendly staff and the owner is very nice and hospitable. And I adore Piper the dog! I highly recommend this place. Support local coffee shops!
