This place had the BEST food and service!!!! My boyfriend and I decided to try it and it definitely did not disappoint!!! The quality of food was so good, prices were amazing, and our waitress, Heather, had a positive attitude. She checked on us sufficiently, stayed on top of refills, and she was very quick with getting our food to us. This place is 100% worth every penny!!! Make sure you stop in when you are in Biloxi! We wanted to check this place out as it had a great view of the gulf. The restaurant is 29 feet high so the views are great!! I had the gumbo and a shrimp po-boy. My girlfriend had the club sandwich with fries. The gumbo was delicious and I would definitely order it again. The shrimp po-boy was ok. The bread was not bad and the shrimp had just a bland batter. The club sandwich was served hot and it was good. The drinks were reasonably priced and service was good. I’d come back for the gumbo, the drinks, and the views. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

All that's left of the rich, garlicy, amazing shrimp & grits is my empty plate! What a taste treat:) I also thoroughly enjoyed the side cup of seafood gumbo with a splash of Tabasco. I was looking for some Crab Louie which they don't carry..but, my amazing server, Ms Pam, brought me a taste of their Signature Shrimp Salad. Again...wow!! Can't wait to come back to try that. Tea glass was constantly refilled & all my questions were answered. What a great experience. Thank you, McElroys! This made a chilly January day a true delight. My husband and I ate here last night and we were both so disappointed. We easily could have cooked our own meals better. The steak was under seasoned and very tough. I got the crab cake Biloxi which consisted of 4 slices of fried green tomato, about 7 shrimp, and 1 small crab cake...for $31. I don't mind that price if the food is excellent, but I couldn't even swallow the only bite I took of my crab cake. I took the rest home for my dogs. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so I just have to assume this was a normal night for them. We will never eat here again. Food: 1 Service: 2

We visited McElroy’s for lunch while in the Biloxi area. The restaurant is on a raised platform of sorts in which an elevator or metal stairway is used. The inside is cozy and warm with a nautical themed decor. Upon our entrance, we were warmly greeted by a few of the staff members. Our server, Kaylee was super friendly, knowledgeable and quick. The Peach Harborita was a tequila based cocktail that tasted like fresh peaches and was delicious. I had the Half & Half with fried scallops, their signature crab dressing and mixed vegetables. The scallops were tender and lightly breaded. I was surprised with the mixed vegetables as they were seasoned well and included Yellow carrots which I had never had! The crab dressing tasted like a deviled crab & was amazing! It is dressing with crab meat and shaped like a crab cake then fried. My sister ordered chicken tenders, fries, and cole slaw. The tenders were freshly prepared, lightly breaded and crispy. Seemed like a little cornmeal was mixed in the breading— the tenders were not what I expected at all because they were great! Reasonable prices If you’re in the Biloxi/Gulfport area, this restaurant is worth a try! Best gumbo and poor boy that I have ever had. Full of shrimp and flavor. The shrimp and scallops were very good. The view was amazing. Loved the outdoor bar. The music playlist was great and fun. The food was wonderful, I ordered the cup of gumbo and and the seafood plate(shrimp, corn and sausage). I even tried the oysters on a half shell. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The scenery was beautiful, it really is a nice place to visit if you're ever in Biloxi. Important Highlights GOOD: Wonderful service, amazing water views and generally solid, fresh seafood BAD - We ordered many items. The tuna dip came with wrapped saltines rather than a crusty bread (latter preferred) The crab cake sandwich needed more grilling, it was very soft McElroy's Harbor House was very enjoyable. The food was overall very good but the STAR was the view. The roof top dining offers several amazing angles of the marina and open water - a must if you go Our server was very friendly and sweet. We loved the chili grilled shrimp, the cold shrimp and the oysters. If you get the crab cake sandwich, go for fried to get the good crunch. McElroy's should be on your list while in Bioloxi.
