Very nut allergy friendly - don't think anything on the menu has nuts. We walked in with 9 people and were seated pretty quickly on a weekday at 5:30PM. Service was a little slow to bring drinks and take orders (barely made the happy hour 6PM cutoff) but food came out pretty quickly (within 15 minutes). My whole table ordered variants of the happy hour 3- or 5- taco option and I got the Nachos Grande with marinated steak. The price point for their happy hour is extremely reasonable for the quantity of food served. My Nachos Grande could've fed three people. Out of the tacos I tried, I enjoyed the carnitas the most. Had the Divorciada and the enchiladas were really good with more than I could eat. I didn't care for the house salsa personally and the chips were a bit stale but great service and exceptional atmosphere. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Edited after reply from Restaurant: Chicken was properly braised in quesadillas, if the waiter could have explained us a bit better we could have been a little less skeptical. Chicken was safe to eat after all. Original: I am not a big Mexican cuisine fan - rather I rarely like it. But my review here is not biased because most of it is coming from my friends who accompanied me. One of my friends got chicken quesadillas and we really think it had raw chicken - that totally spoiled the mood. Otherwise the food was okay. Liked Romaine Salad, Baja Fish Tacos were umm meh - okay overall I guess. I don't think we left that impressed with the food. Service was fine - we complained about raw chicken and we got the response that it's edible. Well yeah sure it's edible but we wanted to know if it's raw or not. On the other hand, the ambience was top notch - a really elegant and polished place to dine in at. My husband and I went to eat here on a Saturday around 4:10 pm. They have a good amount of parking spaces around the building. They sat us right away and served water with ice and chips with salsa. Chips were great! We shared the Queso con chorizo, it was good, a bit spicy but in a good way, we felt it more of a dip than melted cheese. They have happy hour from 4 pm to 6 pm and 10 pm till close. We shared 2 Baja tacos, they were good but nothing like original fish tacos in Ensenada! Main difference is on the batter for the fish. I had the shredded beef enchiladas, they were tasty but I would prefer corn tortilla instead of flour, the rice was ok but I didn't like the beens or guacamole, they lacked seasoning. (3/5) My husband order the grilled carne asada (Ribeye) medium but it was more well done, it was good, it can be better (4/5). Overall the service was great, the food was ok, I would go back to eat some other things and see if I find something better here. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Our first visit here and we loved it. Food, Service, and drinks are all top notch. We will definitely be stopping here every time we are in town. Was great at about 1pm on a Saturday. People there but not super busy and got seated right away. The Cadillac Margaritas are excellent! If you can’t decide just start there. We had the Quesabirria and Carnitas Quesadillas. Both were great but the Quesabirria is to die for. Service was great. Attentive and friendly host, waitress, and servers. Worth a stop in to try it out!
