This was the WORST place I have ever experienced. First of all, we weren’t delivered the proper information we needed to access the building as stated in the booking webpage. We had to hassle the manager who repeatedly declined my calls the morning of our stay and had his propert manger contact me instead after I messaged him/her stating I needed access instructions for my booking that same day. After finally receiving the info, my hubby and I booked for 6 days but left after an hour and a half. When we got there, we immediately noticed the entrance to the facility was unlocked (meaning anyone can easily waltz in at any time) and there was no attendant or any person present at all. Instead, we were greeted by a wild duck who was casually leaving filth, hair (and whatever else wild ducks drag along) all over the already dirty floor. When we got the key to our room, we noticed the door didn’t fully go down to the floor, leaving room for people to see into the room at any point in time. This was extremely concerning, considering how the facility was very much so our in the open and already unlocked and so easily accessible to anyone. In the room, (which is definitely only a tiny room that barely fits a full bed and an oddly shaped 4’x2’ bathroom—no mini fridge, closet, etc.,) the carpet, chairs and bed were stained with marks all over, there were hairs and dust all over the sheets, black weird substances in the crevices of the wall and weird little bugs everywhere. There was also a tiny jar on the floor filled with what looks like animal droppings and crumbs to lure bugs. The roll of toilet paper had been previously used and was also stained…. The tiny shower stream was gunky with dirt, not allowing any water to pass through. They also claim to have an “ocean view” when there is in fact no view of the ocean from the room we booked. The window had a direct view of a dirty exterior wall where the aforementioned duck settled in. The “pool” they offer was approximately 5’ x 4’ and was not at all like it was represented in the pictures. It was also right there our in the open where any passerby or car driving through can directly and clearly see you. The pool was also filthy and filled with feathers, hair and dirt floating on top. The towels provided were smelly (onions and must) and when we asked for other towels, we were directed to go to the lobby and find a bucket on the floor for more towels. After realizing we could not spend our vacation in this place, we asked the manager for a refund so we could go elsewhere. They initially refused and the manager handled all business through the property manager (so we never had the chance to speak to the manager directly, despite asking to.) Thankfully, we booked through a third party and were able to get a refund through them and we luckily found somewhere else to stay. We were completely dissatisfied with our awful experience here and I highly recommend anyone considering booking at this location to RUN the other way!!

Currently staying here. Beautiful view. Nice pool on site. The manager is AMAZING! Very nice spot, affordable. This place is worth every dollar. The view is amazing, you can walk to bars, restaurants. The beach is literally steps from this place. This is will be our go-to spot when we come to Puerto Rico now. Again, the management is amazing and for me that speaks volumes about a business.
Nice Guesthouse. Great location and reasonably rates. Across from beach but no easy access down but the waterviews are beautiful. Small pool, no microwave, hairdryer or frig but...||there was a electric cooler! Noisy on weekend nites. Angelo & Diana great team and yes... would recommend.
The check in process was super easy. We arrived after hours so we received a message with all the details.
The stayed in room 3, in front of the small pool. It was super clean and smelled great!
The hotel is right in front of the beach and the main road. The only issue is the that you hear everything from the Main Street but other than that… this hotel is lovely.
This place is a dream, across the street is the ocean and beaches. Angelo, the hotel manager was super amazing and dropped us off anywhere we asked and showed great hospitality. Rooms are great, coming straight from a hostel I was surprised to see not a single insect in our room. Highly recommend room #2 for couples!! They've also got a small pool. Water is hot, no laundry, no kitchen, amazing ac. There are no Ubers and taxis are very expensive, I would recommend renting a car (roughly $100 a day). Explore the area yourself , a lot of restaurants and stores don't show up on Maps (the app). Ask the staff where the mini Mart is as that's a good grocery store in walking distance. Really good seafood restaurants and bars next door. Thanks Aguada Beach Lodge!
Loved this location! Angelo runs the place and he’s extremely friendly and helped us out a lot getting around town when we were waiting for our rental car. He’s the best!! So dedicated to this hotel!❤️
