À propos
If you happen to be around South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena, visit this bar. You will be served Irish and Scottish cuisines at MacDuff's Pub. It's worth coming to this place because of nicely cooked hamburgers, salmon and corned beef. Tasty bread pudding, vanilla ice cream and candied walnut are the tastiest dishes. You will enjoy delicious draft beer, white ale or scotch at this spot. Degust great ice tea, coffee or juice. There is a magnificent view from this bar. Many guests consider the staff cool. Service at MacDuff's Pub is something one can call fine. A lot of people note that the dishes have fair prices. You will definitely like the calm atmosphere and good decor. The average score of this place on Google is 4.6.

Friendly service and got seated quickly without a reservation. The steak and Guinness stew was very flavoursome and generous portion size. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie and although this tasted nice, there was definitely a lack of chicken and it was much smaller than the stew. Nice pub otherwise. Went there for dinner while we were visiting Lake Tahoe. We got to know about this Scottish Pub and Restaurant from our favorite youtuber "Josh McNair"'s page "California Through My Lens". We told our server about that and they were very happy to know about that. We sat inside the restaurant. The inside restaurant was decorated with Traditional Scottish souvenirs immersing us in a delightful cultural experience. There was also an outside patio where each table was transformed into tent. The tents were covered with transparent cover and heater/warmer was included so that one can be protected from the cold while still enjoying the view. We ordered Soup and Shrimp and Chips with tartar sauce. The food was hot and fresh, perfect for the cold weather. We enjoyed a lot. The attention to detail in both decor and food made our visit memorable. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Huge portions, awesome & helpful service, fun & cosy atmosphere. You can't go wrong with the shepherds pie or cottage pie (we didn't try the other pie) or corned beef. Pies were delicious without being overly rich or creamy. Wished we saved room for the bread pudding. We've been here multiple times in both summer & winter and always leave satisfied. This pub has the best food! The sheppards pie, clam chowder bowl, pizza, and pasta were so delicious. The pizza was cooked in a brick oven so the crust was crispy and yummy. The clam chowder appetizer bowl was super big and we loved the nice crunchy bread ring on top of the bowl. The atmosphere was very cozy and had enough space for a few tables upstairs. There's even a mini bar upstairs for patrons to order their alcoholic drinks. And the staff... what can I say. They were super friendly and very accommodating. Definitely a place you have to go and check out, whether you're there for a pint or for the awesome did, stop by the pub. 😊 Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes New England Clam Chowder
