My husband and I have been coming here faithfully for a couple years we’ve lived in the area for a decade and we’ll be here for life so it’s a shame to say this… we love the rolls/sausages however this last weekend, on Sunday, my husband was so appalled by the treatment he received by the lady that must own the place that he said he wanted to just turn around and leave after she already bagged the food but he knew my daughter and I were excited at home for our favorite sausages. He said he’d never been treated so rudely in his life and he’s not sensitive/I’ve never heard him be upset by a customer service experience. He said “it’s like she was trying to intentionally be mean, I’ve never seen anything like it. Can’t imagine if it was you and our daughter.” As much as we love our favorites and have been a fan of this bakery, we decided that after being shown how the owner really feels about her customers we’re not going back, and after seeing these reviews talking with friends we aren’t the only ones. Yikes. Service: 1

I have been going here for years and always had a good experience and great donuts. Definately 4/5 stars on most days, but today a one. I read a few reviews that mention some rudeness, I said no way, well today I experienced it, I hope she was just dealing with something and was just having a bad morning. It just wasn't a friendly experience and I felt like the 10 donuts I bought was somehow a burden on her everytime I asked for a different donut or maybe my slow decisions just annoyed her.
Nothing beats a classic, hole-in-a-wall, bakery. The whole store has an air of my childhood with all the older wood in the store. The donuts and cookies all inside are not fancy, but they are nostalgic and taste like home! I have not seen a classic, straightforward bear claw in a long while, and the taste was as good as I remembered. Definitely dropping by again when I am in town!

Walked in after seeing a scrumptious looking cookie. Had to scratch that cookie itch!! What an amazing classic molasses cookie!! And hellllooooo chocolate chip as well!! Had a great time laughing and gabbing. Went in for a cookie but.... left with a dozen! Plus a cinnamon roll! And 2 apple doughnuts!

The lady at the counter was unnecessarily rude. I got my change back and said, "awesome, thank you", to which she replied, "I'm so tired of hearing that word". Just plain rude and unnecessary. As a local of 6 years and my boyfriend one of 20 years, who supported this business a lot during his youth, I'm very disappointed with our treatment here. I'm surprised this place even manages to stay in business with how little it's open, and with that customer service, I can't see it staying open much longer. The sweets were ok, but in all honesty, I'd recommend going to City Market for doughnuts. There's more selection, more flavor, and the prices are cheaper. Plus, the cashier's at City Market are nice. There's also Bird and Mouse Bakery in the alleyway behind Loback's, which has much tastier sweets!
Really cute old time bakery! Donuts were delicious, drip coffee was delicious and the kolaches were delicious.
