We used to love eating here but lately the service has been bad ! The last two takeout orders we picked up were very large and when got home and took out of the bags we only had half of the order!!!😡 very very frustrating!!!! I don’t know what’s going on but something has changed in Management that we do not like! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

First time at the La Morenita in Ceres. Just as great as the Modesto restaurant. They have an outdoor covered patio which was nice. Everyone loved the dinner. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Bean Dip

I think the place is nice the food is good I’ve been here a couple times. I will say to find a parking it is very small. I’ve never had this experience it was so weird. I went in with my bf he ordered a water and I got a sprite. The waiter with the mustache noticed my sprite was getting low so he gave me a refill on my soda, and my bf took a sip out of it which he always does. Then the waiter made a comment saying “that soda refill was hers.” To which my bf responded “ I just wanted a sip out of it.” I’ve never had someone vigilantly watch us or give us a problem over sharing a soda. The waiter also told my bf “alright we won’t tell anyone you took a sip out of her drink but seemed serious about it. Then the lady waiter refilled his water and the mustache waiter was watching to make sure my bf didn’t get a sprite. Apparently we had the soda police!!!! Then they charged us for a chip refill and we weren’t told ahead of time for this charge, makes me wonder if it was the soda police tryna charge for a soda!! Weird service not coming back…. Waiter taking shots with customers and ignoring our table. Food was overcooked and bland. I've been here a few times some years ago and I remember it being good.
