I was able to be seated 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and my order taken. This was my first time. The atmosphere is beautiful with welcoming staff not to mention the hanging flowers everywhere. I ordered the Belgium waffle with fruit, whipped cream, and banana on the side. It was exquisitely made and presented. Best Belgium waffle ever. My bf ordered a breakfast sandwich that was so tasty! Definitely will be back.

Homemade Belgian Waffle
Excellent food. The waffle and the Key Lime pie were amazing, and service was good too. The atmosphere is nice too but a bit too packed and the table was sticky. That's the only thing that could improve. Overall a great place for breakfast

I had the only three days stay in Key West and despite I didn’t have much time and despite the fact there are so many great places to eat, I came to La Grignote twice for breakfast! It was so good that I could not resist and came back again the next day. Food is excellent, service is very friendly, warm, polite. Sultana did great job and helped us to go through the menu and answered all our questions. Fish is fresh, not too salty, not too smoked, just perfect. I recommend to order coffee and orange juice, it’s fresh and have good quality taste. Thank you to the owner Denis to create this welcoming warm and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. If you like some pastry you can buy great muffins and other bakery beautiful things there and take it with you. Highly recommend 💯

Homemade Belgian Waffle
Quick breakfast here before we started our day. I enjoyed my salmon Benedict which had lots of salmon, but the pastries served from the counter could have used some warming up instead of just dropping it on a plate. I am not sure why places that make fresh baked items don’t have a system to warm up something that was just made hours ago?

Amazing food and service. A must when I visit ket west! Excellent eggs Benedict , homemade sausage and the chicken pesto sandwich ... homemade sourdough, and bloodys... all so good!
