We had a delicious dinner tonight! Not only was the service wonderful, but our friend is handicapped and CARLOS, (manager) and another gentleman were so kind to help her out to the car. I have a lifetime of la cantina experiences. I love the place and eat here weekly. When i die the dinner will be here. They have specials all the time. If you have not tried it yet you really should. Their takeout and function areas are also frntastic. Catering menu is still a great value as well. We sat by the bar & the bar tender waited on us. He was very attentive and helpful. My friend ordered the meatball pizza and said it was delicious with a flavorful crust. This family restaurant has been in business since 1946! Definitely a great spot for family dinner or casual gathering, the take reservations. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed. Our waitress was very nice and friendly, she is the daughter of the owner and bartender is the granddaughter, impressive! Portions were huge, the bring bread and salads prior to the meal. Wouldn’t suggest Gnocchi, they were very basic. Lobster and cheese ravioli were delicious! Will be back! Wishing we had La Cantina Italiana closer to home, and thereby more easily accessible. At my husband's suggestion (he works in Framingham, we chose this local gem as a gathering place for a group of pre-gaming parents and as a source of delicious takeout pizza for your boys post-game. This was our third visit to La Cantina, corresponding to our sons' hockey team's participation in a Framingham -based, vacation week tournament. What stuck out to me was La Cantina's world famous pistachio martini.that quickly caught on with the moms. Appetizers were also a hot, leading to a full fledged meal at our most recent visit While the plates are not 'pretty' the food is delicious with that straight out of my Nana's kitchen feel. I ordered the salmon with mashed cheesy cauliflower. My husband got the shirt rib special over mashed potatoes and my daughter loved her Chicken Parmesan sub. Bonus! Fanny's dressing on my salad...the perfect combination of vinegar and seasoning. Bonus 2: Robots led us to our seats, delivered our menus and brought our neighbors drinks and dessert. ADORABLE! We also met the humble owner who was grateful for our patronage and for our takeout orders year after year for our boys. If only there were more like La Cantina! I've never had a bad meal here. The food is always great, however, tonight little different. We got take out spent about seventy dollars. I got the baked haddock It was very good but a bit dry. I wanted to try the Buffalo bites so I ordered them. The buffalo sauce is good but it could be a bit more Spicier. Where's my blue cheese? Like with the amount of money I spent you couldn't throw the blue cheese in there for the Buffalo bikes. What's the point of eating buffalo bites without blue cheese. I recently went here for a private event. The staff were really nice and came around to collect dishes frequently. The venue was very clean and well organized for about 100-120 people. We had a slide show prepared that the staff also helped us put on the projector. The upgrades since I last was here years ago is very impressive!
