This bar and First Lutheran Church can be both really attractive for tourists. At JL Beers, visitors may have good hamburgers, garlic parmesan and bacon. Nothing can be better than eating tasty Brezeln. Come to this place for delicious draft beer, root beer or stout. As a lot of guests notice, lemonade is really great. The warm atmosphere of this spot makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. Many reviewers consider the staff creative. Service at this bar is something one can call enjoyable. They have 4 booths (I think) and a very long bar. Most sit at the bar. The bartenders were very busy but they were keeping up with requests. We sat next to the cooks and everything is made fresh. Fries. Burgers etc. Was neat to see how streamlined they were. We ordered the slaw burger and it was delicious. Price was better then expected. Wife and I split burger. Staff was good. Very busy place. Hard to find some parking on a Friday night. The pavilion parking is best option if Street is full. We came for the burger battle! Seating was limited - but it was in the heart of the burger battle. We sat at the bar - keep your jacket on - draft is cold every time the door opens! Probably the best bar in town! It has a great chill atmosphere even when busy, the food isn't too expensive and is absolutely delicious, and the staff are all very friendly! My favorite burger is the Not Just A Nutter Burger, and the loaded fries are amazing as well! Highly recommend this place! Literally - so GOOD!!! I’m not a huge burger person but their burgers are so good every time I leave there I’m thinking about it for DAYS! As weird as it sounds, try any of the burgers with jelly and peanut butter and you won’t regret it! Stephanie and all the staff behind the bar are always so kind and attentive. This is a good place for a burger and beer dinner. Relaxed atmosphere with a large variety of beer on tap. Funny t shirts on the walls and the bathroom has some funky mirrors over the sink. Both of our burgers were great, meat was juicy and flavorful, toppings were fresh and tasty, and the bun was among the softest and nicest of any burger spot I've ever been! The on-tap root beer was also among the best root beers I've ever had. Service was very friendly, prices were good even now, and speed was great. Will be back if/when I visit Sioux Falls again! My husband and I are staying in Sioux Falls over the summer and while I had been here before and didn't love it, we thought we would try it again. This time I would say the burgers were much better than last time I tried it over two years ago. I would also note that my husband and I consider ourselves (probably like a lot of people) burger connoisseurs. My husband had the blue cheese and bacon burger (which is the one I tried last time and didn't like) and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the JL burger which was delicious (double patty with grilled onions) and we had some beers and fries to go with the burger. Two critiques: to call your burgers truly the best I think the buns have to be really good, and I would say the buns were just average; and the service was a bit slow but to be fair our waitress was nice just a little overwhelmed as she seemed to be the only one. But the total package of flavors was delicious, and I would say for being able to sit in a restaurant and be served at a table at this price point makes it worth it. (As a note, I think Culver's is probably the best burger in Sioux Falls, but obviously sometimes you don't want a fast food experience.) Definitely try JL Beers if you're in Sioux Falls or any other place they have a restaurant.

Ate lunch here last week and thoroughly enjoyed the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, with a pretzel on the side with jalapeno cheddar dip. I also had a flight of five beers, mostly Stouts and sours. Very relaxing place to have lunch or dinner.
